Everytime I think about game 6 in 2013 I just come here, haha. Although I'm here tonight because we just shut the Canuks out 4 -0 in this building once again! Little deja vu..
+Greysen Gagné Sweet, right?!!! I was just thinking about sending a link to this game to my bro-in-law who is recovering from tough surgery. He lives in FL and is an old B's fan. If this game doesn't cheer him up, I don't know what will!
Oh yeaaaaaah! Whatta great moment in my Bruins history. Mark Recchi goes out a 3 time Stanley cup champion 🏆🏆🏆 and Zdeno Chara gets to hoist the cup up high. What else can you say about the Conn Smythe winner 🏆 Tim Thomas. 4 playoff shutouts and a micriscopic Goals against average. Milan Lucic getting to raise the cup in his hometown plus Marchy, Bergy, Krecji, Tyler Seguin and our amazing defence. Thank you for posting this special video of game 7. Final score Bruins 4 Canucks 0...JP
When I saw Burrows get run over at the 7:35 mark or so, I screamed when I was watching the game for the first time, "take that you chicken finger SOB" lol
I love these guys' commentary. I was unfortunately in a way different time zone during the playoffs and was often sleeping on my bed listening online to the radio call. Made my day waking up to "Score Bergeron!!!"
My father and I watched that Bruins Stanley cup team in 1972 and waited 39 long years for this to happen; but how sweet it was!!! Thank You to that B's team! The way management screwed up, it may be another 39 years till we win another cup.
Been sitting here with a massive smile on my face for the last few hours waiting for this video man. Thanks for getting this up! I've been loving your highlight reels these playoffs. Great work on them man, seriously. Thank you so much for putting all the time and love into them. I have a feeling I'll personally be padding your view count over the next few months while I wait for the Pats to start up and need a fix of some championship caliber sports ;)
I've had the opportunity to meet Dave Goucher twice in Boston for Broadcasting Camp there. Wonderful guy with such great talent. I'll cherish every conversation we've had.
EXCELLENT TOUCH dubbing Gouch and Beers rather than the NBC sound. Excellent work all year, much appreciated. And as for the parade, if you didn't catch it yet, it's 11:00AM Saturday, from the Garden to Copley.
Not that it matters anything now but I love how Bergeron's short handed goal counted. The direct overhead shot, to me, showed him swiping at it with his left hand and it moving with pace beyond the bodies sliding on the ice. I would have said no goal but still given a penalty or a penalty shot. This team was truly remarkable in its ability to overcome in every series except the sweet sweep of the Flyers. There was so much talent on that roster. This was such a satisfying game 7 and an awesome run through the playoffs. Apart from the sweep of the Flyers, they were down in all three of the other series at one or more points...pretty amazing.
After Marchands Empty net goal I luv how he turned around to the Canucks fans and started giving it to them while celebrating with his teammates in the corner! True Pest and a great hockey player that any team would love to have! Go Bruins!
I miss listening to Goucher's call of the Bruins games. I'm glad he's having so much success with the Golden Knights. I just really hope he comes home to Boston before his commentator career comes to an end.
This was a great year as i cheered for the bruins... as my friends where cheering cor the cansucks. Like I said was a great year the bruins became champions and my son was born
Anyone else remember watching hockey central on versus half way through the regular season and seeing one of the announcers pick boston and vancouver in the finals?? Good call
@MrWhitey101 yeah that is true i didn't really watch the series to closely as my team wasn't in it i just saw an overall perspective and to me it looked like mostly luongos handy work
Can you imagine how depressed canuck fans must have felt after this. Just 1 game. That's all they needed and they could have had their first cup in team history. Now their window has closed, the players are getting older, and the team is on the decline. No wonder they went on a riot.
Dafoomie, I listened to 105.5 WEEI out of Springfield (connects to WRKO/WEEI) after the game was over, and omfg, I've never heard a more happy bunch of players before. They had Milan Lucic, Brad Marchand, Claude Julien, Gregory Campbell, etc call into the radio station. I stayed up until 2 am to listen to their reaction.
Does this give anyone chills? "GET THE DUCK BOATS READY! GET THE DUCK BOATS READY! After 39 Long years the Cup is back Home. The Bruins are 2011 Stanley cup champions!"
@666maidenfan He certainly did in Boston, but in Vancouver, he was stellar. He had 2 shutouts in 4 games, and surrendered 6 goals total in 4 games. That's a 1.5 GAA average on home ice. The people who buckled were the Sedins. You have two guys who lead the league in scoring back to back years absolutely disappear in that series. Luongo was buckling under pressure on the road no doubt, but he played well in Vancouver.
@666maidenfan I think the Rangers are very much like the Bruins of last year. They have a great goalie, tremendous team toughness, and balanced lines. Boston didn't really have a sniper, but they had a bunch of guys that could net 20-30 goals. NY's leading goal scorer has 33 goals, Gaborik. Boston's only 30 goal scorer last year was Lucic, so the comparison is very valid. The question is can NY stay as healthy as Boston did, and how will Crosby's return effect the balance in the East?
Before anyone thinks of it, yes, I'm sending my opinion to the To and YVR papers. I'll do my very best to make it difficult for them not to publish it (It will make sense, it will be funny and it won't be rude) .
@dangleman1 except for the cup...with tim thomas mvp.. it was a multi-national effort.. great candadian players, yes... that is why canadian fans and american fans enjoy this cup..
@bigbadbruins0796 Absolutely right. I had forgotten about him. He had a quiet series, for obvious reasons. I'm actually a big fan of Malhotra, and there's a lot of guys on that team that could learn something about toughness and perserverance from him.
watching this video will never get old or out dated!!!!! LOVE IT!
That checks out, it's been 12 years now and still not old good👍👍
Who still relishes this moment? Just about 2023 and I'm still watching! 🤘
Thomas's performance was one of the best performances in Hockey that I have ever seen..... if it wasnt for him we would have never won
I never get tired of watching this....
Everytime I think about game 6 in 2013 I just come here, haha. Although I'm here tonight because we just shut the Canuks out 4 -0 in this building once again! Little deja vu..

Greatest Moment of my life to finally see my Bruins win the cup! I can watch this a million times and it never gets old. LOVE IT! BRUINS BABY! WOOOO

@12:00
"It's a mob science I front of the net"
You could say... It was a riot
Olympic level savage! lol
At 12:10 the first car caught fire!

The boos when Marchy lifted the cup were probably better at feeding him than any cheering might have been.
Haha, anyone else notice how they crossed out the "Boston" in the "Boston Pizza" sign on the boards?? Even put "Vancouver" above it.
+Greysen Gagné yea it's a local company in Vancouver, they changed their name like that on all their advertising for these 2 weeks.
+1234Peacekeeper and it DIDNT WORK!!!!
+John Nguyen no it was because sales would've gone way down if they kept it "Boston Pizza"
+John Nguyen no it was because sales would've gone way down if they kept it "Boston Pizza"9
+John Nguyen no it was because sales would've gone way down if they kept it "Boston Pizza"
nope, even 9 months after you wrote this, still not old
I miss this team... I still love the B's but the 2011 season team was just amazing.. miss all those guys
Matt Damics20 best team ever assembled
10 years later. I thank you
When I saw Burrows get run over at the 7:35 mark or so, I screamed when I was watching the game for the first time, "take that you chicken finger SOB" lol

Never gets old . Thank you Bruins , thank you so much
Great video, thanks for posting! Boston Bruins 2011 Stanley Cup Champions, I just love the sound of that!
Great job Bruins! Thanks dafoomie for all of your posts this season!
I love these guys' commentary. I was unfortunately in a way different time zone during the playoffs and was often sleeping on my bed listening online to the radio call. Made my day waking up to "Score Bergeron!!!"
Just beautiful
I could watch this every day.
thank you the radio call is awesome
been great following the Bruins along with you, Dafoomie. Thanks very much and God bless. BRUINS!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAHHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My father and I watched that Bruins Stanley cup team in 1972 and waited 39 long years for this to happen; but how sweet it was!!! Thank You to that B's team! The way management screwed up, it may be another 39 years till we win another cup.
Nobody realizes how hard this must have been to get the audio in time with the video, and it was really good in this video. Great video!!!!
Thank you for uploading this! And it still hasn't sunk it but wow, the Bruins are Stanley Cup champions.
Been sitting here with a massive smile on my face for the last few hours waiting for this video man. Thanks for getting this up! I've been loving your highlight reels these playoffs. Great Tv/radio sync. Thanks Dafoomie.
I've been watching pretty much every video you post for a while now. Thanks dude.
I'm glad you uploaded it with beers and goucher. NBC announcers fucking love the Canucks. Its good to finaly hear a good announcer for once
thank you so much for this video!!!
I cried watching this again and again. LOOL
One of the greatest moments in Boston's history. DO IT AGAIN!!
I'm a Ranger's fan but a big bostons fan! So by June I went to visit boston and watch game 6 and I watched the parade.
Karl Wilger That's sick! Yeah I was so hoping for a rangers win this year.
i like ur picture
tedtheskater mine? :P yeah its a nice logo isn't it Lel no u mean 9pt9
Karl Wilger haha yes
THANK YOU DAFOOMIE!
7:39 "And Burrows is... naturally looking for a call"
LOL
Burrows actually tried to run Seidenberg then, and ran into a stone wall.
@jackmehof247 CZcams desynched the audio, you can tell when the video cuts to another point but the audio doesn't change right away.
I've had the opportunity to meet Dave Goucher twice in Boston for Broadcasting Camp there. Wonderful guy with such great talent. I'll cherish every conversation we've had.
A fan of the Bruins last place or 1st place.
EXCELLENT TOUCH dubbing Gouch and Beers rather than the NBC sound. Excellent work all year, much appreciated. And as for the parade, if you didn't catch it yet, it's 11:00AM Saturday, from the Garden to Copley.
lookin good this year. cant wait for playoffs
still get chills watching this...well done Beantowners!

two great teams. one deserved winner.
After Marchands Empty net goal I luv how he turned around to the Canucks fans and started giving it to them while celebrating with his teammates in the corner! True Pest and a great hockey player that any team would love to have! Go Bruins!
The kid you see in the aisle seat there was banging on the glass, pissed off that his Canucks were losing.Marchy was just giving it back to him
EdRacer71 Yep, Kid looked like he was going to cry, about how I looked when Boston blew game 6 to the BlackHawks in the last minute and change.
Mattblaze1477 FOOK MARCHAND THAT RAT..LOOKS LIKE A RAT..LITERALLY..He got slapped around from most players in the league
Mattblaze1477 u
Goucher & Beers are top class, one of, if not the best Radio team in the NHL.
AWESOME!!
Thanks for uploading this. Its nice to hear Goucher and Beers call the game, can't stand emrick anymore.
I miss listening to Goucher's call of the Bruins games. I'm glad he's having so much success with the Golden Knights. I just really hope he comes home to Boston before his commentator career comes to an end.
Damn I miss this team so much
Justice was truly served in this series
This was a great year as i cheered for the bruins... as my friends where cheering cor the cansucks. Like I said was a great year the bruins became champions and my son was born
Anyone else remember watching hockey central on versus half way through the regular season and seeing one of the announcers pick boston and vancouver in the finals?? Good call
Thanks for marrying local broadcast with national coverage. Cannot beat excitement of local call of game
I love the Lone Bruins fan behind the Canucks' net jumpin up lol
NOW 12 FINALS with the World Series at the moment.... 1 more win! 1 MORE WIN IN BOSTON FOR TITLE #8!!!!
It only gets better
it was to thank the canucks for a great season, even though we didn't win the cup it was still one hell of a year
@MrWhitey101 yeah that is true i didn't really watch the series to closely as my team wasn't in it i just saw an overall perspective and to me it looked like mostly luongos handy work
@bretskigretzky I concur, absolute beastmode.
I totally concur. Though I'm a Montrealer and wished the Habs had won in round 1, I am still grateful to the Bruins for kicking the Nucks' asses !
Oh the good old memories
Can you imagine how depressed canuck fans must have felt after this. Just 1 game. That's all they needed and they could have had their first cup in team history. Now their window has closed, the players are getting older, and the team is on the decline. No wonder they went on a riot.
Dafoomie, you deserved this from all your hard work.
Favourite joke from this series? What time is it in Vancouver? It's four past Luongo!
@BostonBruinsRule101 Glad you like it! GO BRUINS!
this announcer is awesome.. he knows whats gonna happen a full second befor it happens!
LET'S GO BRUINS! Unbelievable :)
I stayed up until 2 am to listen to their reaction.
i wish jack announced this!
i know right!
I love Jack, but I don't.
I'm so happy with the
H Beach TOO BAD it won't happen again..
what does canada watch during nhl offseason
@jackmehof247 thats cause the audio is faster that the video
i wish dave goucher would take over on nesn, his voice is goosebumpy
im not a fan of either team but can someone explain how the third bruins goal counted? how was the goalie supposed to keep the from going in the net?
dafoomie, thanks for making a wonderful playoff series just that little bit better. Love your work.
I will never forget where i was that night.
Wish we could have one at home...
Do you have the Game 6 calls, especially when Beers calls out when Luongo gets benched?
@alanrdowney Bob Wilson's not dead but he does live in New Hampshire.
Does this give anyone chills?
"GET THE DUCK BOATS READY! GET THE DUCK BOATS READY! After 39 Long years the Cup is back Home. The Bruins are 2011 Stanley cup champions!"

Luongo was buckling under pressure on the road no doubt, but he played well in Vancouver.
@MrWhitey101 i think he played a bigger part in the loss crumpled under the pressure
how did you get this footage?
this was better than the sox winning in 2004, and that sox run was awesome
@Swish1216 You weren't kidding...entire-body chills...
@666maidenfan I think the Rangers are very much like the Bruins of last year. They have a great goalie, tremendous team toughness, and balanced lines. Boston didn't really have a sniper, but they had a bunch of guys that could net 20-30 goals.

@LoneNutter1 lol. I didn't get what you were talking about until the last line, aha.
Can you post Game 7 SCF vs VAN & Game 3 ECSF vs Flyers with the NBC audio?
Before anyone thinks of it, yes, I'm sending my opinion to the To and YVR papers.
I'll do my very best to make it difficult for them not to publish it (It will make sense, it will be funny and it won't be rude) .
I still can't believe they actually did it!!!!
6:30 who does that?
@dafoomie
Its today at 10 am I believe
When is the 2011 Run for the Cup tribute coming up?! :D BOSTON!!!
Best moment of the series when Beers cut off Goucher "Here comes Schneider, here comes Schneider right now!"
@onlybuilt4rttp Which is beyond weird since Edzo cashes his check for the Blackhawks, a major Canuck rival.
you have a point. but the score does reflect the team, my friend
LOVE that they played Rancid after Marchand's 1st goal. I would have been going nuts if I were there.
exactly we won by a long shot
There isn't a more deserving group of guys. We GOT the CUP!
this was better than meeting my boyfriend for the first time !! Love you Pete xoxo
