Davis played out of his mind!
He definitely played a steady game, but other than that 1 miraculous save on Leonard there wasn't anything else too outstanding.

@@scottparker9341what an awful take… he’s so good he MAKES it look steady. the break away against smith in the first is a perfect example. you rarely see him moving frantically or out of position unless for a wild bounce.
Davis is a very calm and collected goalie, that was an outstanding performance, shut out in the championship game. Doesn’t get any better than that!

As a Michigan fan, goaltending was our teams weakness all year and it bit us in the butt on Thursday. Michigan didn’t play badly, BC was just the better team. While it looks like tonight goaltending was solid on both side, but Davis was on another level
Yes he was. And that's div 1 hockey. They're so damn good, you just don't know from game to game. Enjoyable, to be able to watch our youngsters work their craft. Good fortune on all of em.
@@godramen7104 Davis goes down as having perhaps the greatest save I've ever seen in college hockey. He robbed that kid on a wide open net. It's only been a week and I'm still feelin it. Well......Boston and Toronto in first round. We'll see.

As a Northeastern grad I had a great couple of days lol. First BU losing in OT (again) in the semifinal and then NFBC getting shut out in the final.

FACT. Davis is a FULL RIGHT goalie.. even at the NHL level players have habits and scoring routines that work with regular goalies but fail against FULL RIGHT. B C actually won the game on skills alone but Denver was able to score . imo .. best hockey you will ever see outside of the Stanley cup or Olympics ..

Perreault and smith sold this game. No, I will not elaborate. If you watched the game you know. Davis saved DU. Leonard had 2 prime scoring chances and Davis channeled his Holtby powers.

No, and the boarding call sent BC on the downward spiral. Little chips and pushes here and there but NCAA is not NHL. That's why I prefer college hockey to the pros.
