- So a few months ago I saw these wild shoes online - and thought instantly that we had to try them out for our ~questionable fashion decision~ series! So I got these Balenciaga Platform Crocs and wore them around for a week, just to see if they could be styled and generally how crazy they were! What do you think? My favorite thing is that Tyler is not insecure at all, he loves when asf wheres makeup, he was so into the fact that she was like significantly taller than him.
Weirdly, I think these looked best/most cohesive with the punk outfit. Although I would have been interested to see them styled in a 60s way, with an A-line minidress.

I really felt the “wearing them to your wedding” thing. When I was like 5 I went to my aunt and uncle’s wedding and I wore my dirty pink crocs instead of my new white ones. I was a flower girl and started crying when there were no more flowers because I didn’t know where to go sit down. I honestly feel like it’s why I’m so extra now.

I actually have a pair of these, they’re easy (for me) to walk in, i didn’t get them from balenciaga, but i like them and they’re comfortable, but for starting a collection of platformed shoes, they’re a bit tall but still fun to walk in

Balenciaga is one of the main reasons why Crocs are trendy again. They were like the trendsetter!
I mean, the cute and colorful jibbitz fits the aesthetic of y2k fashion which is now making a comeback. The style and is just so timely.
Also, it’s kinda impressive to me how Balenciaga was bold to rock those in a runway back in 2017 because to be honest, I wouldn’t find wearing a pair of crocs cute 4 years ago.
