We used to have so much fun as kids. My mom taught myself and siblings rug looming, crochet, macrame and embroidery. We learned canning, cooking, making food from scratch, painting, food dehydrating etc.. Seems our mom could do it all really and she often taught others as well. We sure miss her.

I just did this activity and I made a little bee... in total it took about 3.5 hours for the whole thing... definitely fun and will be tufing again.

I know exactly how much it hurts, and how even two years later, you still miss your friend. I know we still miss our Barley boy. The hair, dust, beds and toys may be gone from the house, but the love always remains in our hearts 💕

Oh, no fair. My sister, best friend, and I had a rug that we made in the 1970s of a horse in a field that was HAND tufted. It was 3' x 5' and still sits in my sister's house unfinished because we ran out of energy doing the grasses as that was so redundant. Seeing people using an "electric gun" is just wrong. If you don't hand tuft you're just not getting all the fun of the torture of loading each piece of yarn into the needle and pushing it through. Weenies.
