Thanks so much for this. Super handy and helped me fix my Trafic which had the same issue. I got an Autel AP200 Scanner which identified it as the downstream nox sensor. Thanks for saving me having to take it into Renault.
So my 2016 1.6 renault trafic "check anti pollution system" light came on. I have OBD II so i cleared all the fault codes and then the light came on after a day. I checked again with OBD II and now it shows me Glowplug circuit A malfunction but NOX sensor fault is gone, light is still on. How are those 2 linked? Starts little rougher than before, no white smoke, idle fine, is not in limp mode, drives fine.
Hey there. Great video. I think ive got a similar issue. My 2019 diesel Vivaro van (60k) sportage is showing a adblue emission fault, and will be impossible to start at 600 miles.? Ive topped up fluid and problem still showing.? Please advise.? 🙏🙏🙏 Time of year is expensive, and don't want a huge garage bill, so if i can do the sensor replacement I'll give it a go. TIA. 🙏🙏🙏
Great videos. I've subscribed! I have the Renault version. Only 40k miles and egr cooler needed changed. Pretty standard apparently. Big job; had to drop subframe. Now I have this Downstream NOx problem too. Faults in the Urea dosing module but they were DF055, DF065 and DF066. Could be just corrosion in the plug terminals though??? I'll try cleaning them first. Constant probs with these 1.6 biturbo R9M engines. Would you recommend egr and adblue delete? Would save alot of grief and money!!!

We've have one customer that's had an ad blue delete done and its caused quite a few issues so in my experience I wouldn't recommend it
The problem is, where did you get the adblue from?? IF you've got it from a petrol station then likely, as not, it could be out of date OR, been left on the forecourt and the sun has got to it so, ALWAYS buy it from a proper retailer... make sure the date, on the tub, is not out of date also look to see if there is any 'crystallization' around the filler cap, of the tub... if so, get a different tub!

Hello. I just came from service now. They told me the van needs to change the poluation system. I have been asking "maybe there is sensors need be changed " they told no need be replaced all system. I asked how much they told me between 500-2000 pounds.
😖 ouch .. they do suffer with a few problems!
@@diydaly What do you suggest me to do?
@@leonardodavinci1716 it’s hard for me to say.. you description is very vague! There’s lots of parts involved and I don’t know what the issues / codes etc are .. you might be best getting a second opinion at another garage

Hi, my Vivaro has just failed MOT because of this exact problem, they say I need to change both Nox sensors at a cost of about £274 each, would this be about right?
Both sensors are just as common but depends if it’s fit faults with both or not mate 👍
@@diydaly hi I am from Slough I have same problem 2015 van can you help me with that

@@diydaly hey Gav thanks for the quick reply, I'm in Manchester the van has came up saying "ANTI pollution system" I've code read it on two devices cheap one says p380 glow plug heater circuit A,
The snap on reader says DTC3202 and DTC3203 Downstream nox sensor performance out of range
@@jordanakalucky are yeah that’ll be the 2nd nox sensor then mate , getting fairly common now on quite a few models , I’d recommend getting a genuine one and you won’t have any hassle .. the aftermarket ones are abit temperamental
eobd scanner link not working bud 😞
Thanks mate, just edited it 👍👌
@@diydaly oh in video u used snap-on ,but listing is different machine ,will this do any service functions on a vivaro struggling to find a machine to do these BMS ,dpf ,airbag etc etc
@@graycbr600 Yeah that one will mate, I use the snap on scanner at work but it was about 4k plus we pay £100 a month to keep it updated , obviously we need a top machine to cover the amount / range of work we do but these in the link are a decent bit of kit for the at home DIYer 👍
non of the links work to find the parts FYI
