- How to fix P0096 Air intake temperature fault on 2015 Vauxhall Vivaro (same as Renault Trafic)
Often the air temp is read through the air flow meter but these have a separate sensor.

Cheers diydaly been messing with same faults as you shown for weeks now even took to be repaired at garage still come back with lights on after thay fitted maf sensor doh 😣 bought said sensor from dealer 😳 it’s also called air pressure sensor stuck it on all lights went out without erasing error codes job done thanks

Great video same issue with my fiat doblo - map sensor doesn't last long changed it just last year and its failed again - ant ideas?
Best check the wiring first but usually they are ok tbf! What brand did you fit?
@@diydaly bosch same as original - same part number. Its on the inlet manifold could it be a heat issue? Cheers

Hi, my vivaro 2017 has the Anti pollution light and spanner and eml on. I've noticed that it comes on only when there's severe rainfall. What do you think could be the cause of it? The van itself still drives fine.

Will a budget odb2 from Euro parts diagnose this fault and clear the fault?
Yeah most budget ones should read and clear engine faults with no trouble
I seem to be only getting about 8 or 9 months out of one these till I have to replace again

Hi I have a 2019 Renault traffic sport it does 17mpg it has just had a new set of injectors & up flow sensor and a MAF sensor & Monday it will have a new MaP sensor we had to for regen it today and you can smell unburnt Diesel it has an oil dilution error and a dpf ash content full when it degens it goes down to 16MG in the snap on diagnostic it’s out of warranty and the only help I’ve had was very minimal from Renault any help would be appreciated thanks
Sorry to hear your having some trouble! I presume you’ve checked the dpf pressure pipes are not blocked? Or split? Have you read the differential pressure on the data on the snap on machine? I’ve had a few dpfs that have been too bad to unblock via regen and needed cleaning with a solution.. I usually use offcar dpf clean from euro car parts .. it’s about £30 for 5L and it’s decent stuff

Hello mate, I keep getting "check anti pollution system" .. started a few months back, I've since had the DPF sorted cos that was blocked and just wouldn't regen, also had a remap, van now runs beautifully 👌 but still getting that error. I've changed this sensor and also swapped another small ally one back left of engine ( summat to do with boost ? ) I'd seen it mentioned and was only cheap. Seem to be at a loss now
Yeah that second sensor is the upstream turbo pressure .. again mega common but tbh it’s not usually the sensor , most common issue is the pipe splitting or the metal section blocking up, it’s quite tricky but the best thing you can do to clear it is use abit of push bike brake cable.. use the inner in a drill

I have this fault code and also P0380? (Glow plug/heater circuit A). - also, my vents in the van dont blow out any hot air? Could there be a link here with all this please mate?

Is that the MAF sensor mate? I'm having the same issues on mt 2015 megane 1600 dci 130. Maf seems to be getting a reading and changing voltage when revving though. It seems to be choaking itself when you put your foot down in 4th 5th or 6th
no its separate from the MAF sensor although it wont be on yours if its a Megane, have you got and fault codes stored? could be possible EGR fault
@@diydaly P0096 is the last code that I cant sort. I've had the EGR off and cleaned and rectified that fault. I've ordered one of those sensors you mentioned. Thanks mate. Fingers crossed. P.s on my previous message I meant to put MAP not MAF.

I have the same problem p0098 intake air tempature sensor 2 circuit high i bought a sensor from ebay bosch cleared the faults its still the same and I have glow plug circuit a
good change you'll have a glow plug down, has it still got p0098 too then?
@@diydaly yes and a few months aga exaust pressure senser blowen up I chage it since i had I have a whistling noise when i do daognostic from renolink its says intake air tempature senser flap of couser i cant use cruise control as well thank you for your any help
@@diydaly and also when I do live data air tempature -40 if I unplug air mess sensor then I get another message which is normal then means sensor is fine I dont get it anymore :D
@@alicanyazgan the upstream turbo pressure sensor causes a lot of issues, the rubber pipe splits or the metal pipe blocks up.. its of the left hand side.. you may have a wiring issue if it Keeps coming up with the air temp fault though

Hi, I have this code on a 2015 Renault traffic..1.6 dci with check injection system and anti pollution fault on dash... i have the new sensor here which I just picked up from the dealer, have not fitted yet, however this van Starts up sometimes and then just dies out a few seconds later... will this fault cause this issue also or do you think this is a separate issue ?
Hi Sean.. I haven't experienced the cutting out after startup with this fault code so you may have a separate issue. It may be relating to air leak or the EGR valve at a guess.. 🤞the sensor sorts it
DIYDaly I put the intake or temp sensor on and it took away the check anti pollution and check injection system away for about a day.. I’m gettin check injection system back up again.. when I plug in diagnostic now it is giving me up a fault of p0106 - Manifold absolute pressure/Baromatic pressure circuit Range/Performance ?
@@seanbarr582 when running does it boost ok or does it shut down into limp mode .. you could do with doing an air leak test on the intake system , there may be a split hose or vacuum pipe .. I use a smoke leak detector I’ll send a link

Hi yes I tried the sensor my engine management light is still on I don't have a scanner to turn on it's now just saying check anti pollution
@@tomnewman9300 You'll really need an eobd scanner to clear the fault mate
@@diydaly will it not just gave up again with sludge? Is it worth cleaning the boost pipes
@@theolinton9937 cleaning the boost pipes will definetly help abit but they soon cake up again , it’s not specially the sludge that damages the sensor , they seem to breakdown electronically
