Well I'm land locked here in Wichita Kansas and snapper and grouper go for $68 lb. And you have to commit to 3 to 5 pounds before you get it. Special order. I'm still waiting to try grouper and snapper.

The penn stuff ain’t high quality my guy. No hate but those shimano reels are way better quality, also for rods the Teramar by shimano is worth a try if you haven’t used it. Matched with a Saragosa is perfect.
Penn is good
Shimano is like a Ferrari while Penn is like a diesel truck. Which one would you rather do work with? Shimano will not hold up to abuse like a Penn will.
If you are gonna spend Shimano money buy Daiwa.
I had to quit buying shimano, they’re great out of the box, but fail too often and too quickly. Penn is the way.
