EPIC you guys slew the fish. I know you don't need luck. But I have been lucky back in the day. My father took me and my older brother out on the helen S drift boat. First time in the ocean on a boat. Guy in the front hook a small bonita. Tangled up 5 lines. As I'm trying 2 get undone I get smoked. Mate leaped over the seats cuts the lines that had me. Guy with the bonita says I had a fish. Mate said screw that get behind the seats. 1 and a half hrs.later a 52 lb. Wahoo. I was 13yrs. old jr. class rec. Dad and brother are gone now. A day to remember.

Wow, wish I could fish like that.
It can be that there is something under the water with zero buyancy. Normally we see stuff on the water like a piece of a tree, old pallet, bucket, etc. We prefer to chum and catch with a small fillet. Not life bait. Further we don’t use rod and reel. Hand lines. It’s wat faster.
