No surprise, the VW has a better gearbox. In my experience BMW's are the most unreliable cars out there.

I find the DCT more engaging to operate over the DSG. The DSG is good.

Couple of reasons, I always promised myself a GTI at some point in life. Golf R is not a car that I want. Great car, just not for me
