Decorating your home with secondhand thrifted finds is fun and a great way to show your unique style. Today, I visit goodwill and shop for home decor accents and score Glassybaby candle holders. We then stop at a massive antique mall to see what kind of Victorian or cottage style pieces I can find for Fall decorating.

I do not think anyone was being mean to Selena, in the past she asked for the opinions of viewers. We all look at these videos for ideas on decorating and I read comments to get tips too. The rug absolutely makes the room feel soft & cohesive! I would never disrespect someone who’s style I admire unless opinions are asked because I 100% believe you should do what makes YOU happy! There is no rule about where a sideboard 'must go' 🙄! We have one as a console behind our sofa in an open concept kitchen/informal living room. If you want to experiment, that’s fantastic, but never let anyone (esp. when they have never even met you) make you doubt yourself! I do love rugs because they soften sound & I also like guests to feel as though they should kick their shoes off & be comfy🥰. Pete was so funny walking his fingers to the doll furniture & you can let him know that Rebecca in Indiana 100% knows what the 'Care Bear Stare' is 🤣. My rainbow🌈 bear "Happy" was my favorite & I also had the green one with a 🍀 & a ❤️ bear. I was born in 1980, so I think most if us from that decade either owned a bear, read books/watched the cartoon or a combo of all the above. I personally think that you make a STUNNING 🌈 Care Bear! I hope you enjoy your new dining arrangement, just remember that you are the one living in it & can change anything back to suit you at any point (Maybe get Pete to help so you don’t hurt for 2-3 days after, lol)! Your styling choices were great. You are like me, I can move anything I own to any room in my house and it looks amazing wherever it lands, because I only buy things that I love and that makes them interchangeable. You can make your whole house seem new again!

2 videos in a week, what a treat!! I love your new rug and the Bristol glass vases are to die for; $40.00 is insane. I actually bought my first Bristol glass vase after seeing yours. It’s bright blue with beautiful white flowers painted on. As for the candles, pink is more fun, green more formal. I usually opt for fun! I have to tell you something I’ve done just recently. I’ve bought some gorgeous Indian Sari’s and have used them to recover my dining room and kitchen chairs, the fabrics are rich with color. I used a deep pink and gold color pallet in my Paris/Victorian style dining room and a more varied color palette in the kitchen. They all have some sparkle to them and I only paid $3.00 a piece for them at Goodwill. I wish you could see them I’m thrilled with the results.

Selena, what a great and delicious video. Sliders are fantastic when you are alone moving larger pieces. Before I forget that pink marble small side table would of looked fabulous in your home, even in a bathroom to hold towels. Green candles and the blue Bristol glass cases were yummy! I am surprised at that vintage design of the rug, I checked them out a few years ago, but am impressed with their new inventory. OMG, just had to comment that I was yelling to you in the store when I saw those Glassybaby candle holders and so glad you knew what they were and grabbed those up. Such a beautiful color they are too. I have found 2 over the last couple years but they are definitely a big BOLO so was so glad when I saw you bought them in the next scene. YEAH!! The rug you put under the table is gorgeous and I definitely like the green candles. I also think it would be a beautiful statement if all candles in those candelabras were the same color instead of mixed. The mixed is nice, but wow would look lovely all the same. I think the rug is beautiful and it was a great suggestions but remember u decorate your home beautiful and it's your taste and it makes u 😊 happy so remember someone's eye are different in what u love it is fun helping someone decorate if u love it that's great we all need help sometimes but keep true to your favorite things if someone don't like a vase it's ok c u loved it and it made u happy but this rug did make the room beautiful and cozy and u do have beautiful wood floors I love them and the vases were elequte and beautiful great find on the candles the pink is romantic maybe a few mercery candles if u can find them I see people haul them but I've never found any I guess they are called mercury that look clear with the silver glitter in them but yes I love the pink
Lovely! When I was young like you, I use to do that type of room re-organization. Use to drive my husband nuts, especially when I did our Bedroom!!🤣 After 57 years, he’s really use to changes inside and out of the house!! Keep up your love for change, it make for a flexible sense of being. 🥰

Hey! You know, if you are able to remove your shelves in your glass cabinet, you, may replace them with glass shelves. Madd a light, and you be able to see all of your colorful pieces. I did that to an antique cabinet for a friend , and we love it! I really did not change the cabinet except for adding LIGHT jAND COLOR to her space.
Great job moving everything. Another friend just moved her formal dining table to be long ways in the room rather than cross ways. The room looked 3 times bigger!
Another tip (you may already do this): I deep clean and scotchguard all of my rugs at least twice a year. And, I do the same with my shoes, boots, purses, and coats. They look new for many many years! Your dry cleaner may do this for you!

Wow! so fun! yes I love pink and all the shabby chicness, but for fall I think was a great switch up with the green candles on the table and those vases totally go with the painting, plus you were spot on with that rug! totally adds to the warmness of the dining room and is the perfect touch for those chairs! Yes my kitty loves being nosy when I am moving things and even gets in the bed when I am making it! Love to see your kitty in the videos! so precious!

Selena I have to be very honest with you , I've been watching a lot of videos on taking tours of old victorions I will say yours is one of the classiest I've seen so far people may spend mega bucks on the furniture but you have done a better job decorating by thrifting! LOL! My cats always freak a little when I move things around but they also like to play jungle kitties while I’m doing it. A previous sweet funny cat I had liked to jump on the bed when I was making it and roll around on the sheet! They definitely make life more fun and interesting. I love the rug! I also like the green instead of pink for a nice change.
