I wish my mom would have gone with my sister and I antique or thrift shopping. She only went once on vacation. She’d go to lunch or to Target but that’s it. Her house was just the way she liked it. But she raised 3 little girls alone after my dad died. She looked just like Aunt Bea, very musical, church choir, played bridge and had lots of friends. I miss her.

I just wanted to say that I feel I have learnt a lot from you over the years and love how you keep going despite the set backs and how excited you get when you find fun things.
I was yelling, "Get the Fossil!" Glad you picked it up for that price.
When you showed the buggy with the big figure thing I just wondered what your bird would think of the doll thing ? LOL birds can be surprisingly funny when you show them things that you find scary but they just act crazy . Mine had a good time making "friends" with the green hulk ! I think we all are so blessed to be animal lovers. Your mom I hope will be on the show more often !

Oh my goodness the gold collection of the dimensions is worth big money. I have sold three of them already one for $115 one for $98 and one for $150 and that winter scene would be perfect. That would go for big money.!!!!

My mom is no longer with me. She would be 111. My adult children lead very separate lives from me. To be blunt, there’s virtually no “blending” of the generations in my small family. I spend my days mostly by myself with my Boston Terrier and since I live in a sparsely populated rural county, there are a few friends who I have to communicate with and occasionally visit but I stay socially active primarily by phone and text. As an octogenarian, my life has settled into a fairly lonely routine that I had not imagined when I was younger. What a blessing to have your mom with you. My mom LOVED thrift stores and yard/garage sales. I would always tell her to wait till the car stopped to get out as she wanted to beat me to the treasures. Bravo on picking up the needlework kits. Super price with your discount.

Your Mom is cute. A sweet little senior lady told me to put a little moist bleach cleaning powder like Ajax or comet and let it sit on the stain a few minutes then rinse thoroughly. You may have to repeat.
