    Parts shooter ?
Maybe, but in the end you deserve a medal, that was a nice catch:
You found a bad ECM there, with only 34 ohms internal resistance, (so with a soft short inside),pulling down the cam sensor square wave signal...

Did changing the computer fix the issue?

Blimey that is expensive replace the computer toyota did that to me. did not fix the problem.put in camshaft sensor that did not fix it. I have a auto electrician coming on Wednesday, he has the wiring maps for my car. is going to put crankshaft sensor in, a few auto electricians say they must be done same time as camshaft sensor.. as it could be one or the other. It also can be the timing belt/chain.

I can guarantee changing those will not resolve the issue. The symptoms are unique in their own way.
Depending on how soon the code manifest, the base timing should be check within pcm data. If I recall, if the base timing isn't proper it'll trigger this code. This can be made up by distributor adjustment.
Don't get me wrong, everything related to this code should be check.
Crank sensor failure will cause misfire and stalling. If this code is singular, have timing check within pcm and see if it changes when adjusting distributor, if so. The circuits fine. Timing should be less than 15 degree if I recall...
The video should describe everything code setting criteria wise

Thanks for the reply. What a nightmare this has been. My car was in toyota for best part of 2 years. On Wednesday an auto electrician is coming. I dont understand it too much, only to know its rarely the computer. Someone said it could be the vvt solenoid (on mine) as i have vvti engine. Its like a needle in a haystack. I am tired of it. My car has only done 43k miles. I dont want to give up on it, and cant sell it knowing that it has this fault, as its scary when you get stranded or worse it cuts out when driving.

@@niksgee3538 oops... I was under the impression you were referring to the same vehicle as in the video. ☹️
I treat my videos like case studies and try to stay on topic related to vehicle in video.
If you provide your car info and include engine size I'll throw out some info for you. You'll have to give me a few after I knock out a car really quick
