I cant wait to see this finished and in the underground garage once ive done that.......who will finish first lol
It's gonna be a close one 😁
Hope you're putting in some serious sump pump(s) and water sensors into that underground garage so you don't have to do this again!!
The race is officially on lads lolololol🥴
Doesn't it depend on the weather who finishes Frist cause YCR can work on your car in bad weather being indoors but you can only work on your underground garage in good weather being outdoors.
The race is on! Watching both threads to keep updated all around!
I’m a retired engineer and am watching with wide eye amazement as this craftsman works his magic. It a similar feeling as when I was a youngster watching a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat. Utterly fascinating work.
a very common reaction to those of us watching these masters at work
Hello my friend.. iam an engineer right now and im thinking on starting to learn this Kind of work.. somehow very satisfying
I'm a youngster watching with wide eyed amazement, as a magician pulls a rabbit out of his hat.
It's a really similar feeling to watching amazing craftsmanship from a seasoned professional.
Magic is absolutly the right word for this job.
I'm pretty sure I saw the magician pull a rabbit out of his hat, throw away the hat and rabbit, fold a new origami rabbit, turn that into a hat, then pull a BMW out of that hat!
The chill music, mostly time-lapse, not much talking and skilfully executed craft made this a super enjoyable video. Thanks very relaxing.
Yeah I watch these videos at the end of the day to just chill out and relax. Great stuff
Agree 100%
The most relaxing hard working videos on the internet. More than just repairs, seamless artistry. Thank you.
I saw it with my own eyes but it still looks like magic. Real craftsmanship... My mouth hung open in disbelief... Wow
That complex bit at the 20 minute mark is some damn fine craftsmanship.
I especially liked the part from 00:00 to 23:22
Anyone else think these videos aren’t long enough? That is real craftsmanship to get it to a near on factory finish. Can’t wait for the next video!
I could never tire of watching this man ply his craft, in my eyes he's a genius at what he does..
As a former “bodyman” (I use quotes, as I was not formally trained. They just picked me & “trained me”, for what they wanted). I’m beyond impressed, with what I see here. Rebuilding parts was my favourite part & rarely got to do it. 90% was just “slap some filler on it”. Seeing a true master at work, is beyond a joy to watch. Thank you.
Thank you we do really appreciate the kind words :)
Hi Steve, I find watching both yourself and Ryan at work quite relaxing and inspirational. You show that with care and attention to detail that a car can be lovingly restored little by little. I recall looking at older cars with rust and just walking away with disdain, you show how wrong I was to do that. Thanks guys for bringing us along on these restorations.
Isnt it funny hòw a bead roller takes a job from a good repair up to a factory finish!! Great work agai Steve , love it, Joe
I can’t begin to say how much I appreciate the skill, knowledge and patience this work requires. Is almost hypnotic. But why not dip or simply media blast?
Absolutely amazing work its rare to see anyone take such care with bodywork, these days most peoples attitude is if you cant see it don't worry about it you guys though are true professionals at work keep up the videos love watching them.
Magic is how I'd explain this work - I don't understand how you take a flat sheet and turn it into car parts so Magic it is.
Steve that was so incredibly awesome just watching you cut out the rusty panels and fabricate new ones i love this channel its the best on CZcams ❤i hope you get millions and trillions and zillions of new subscribers..tell my good buddy Ryan captain yorkshire I said hello 👋 i have missed him this week but I know he is extremely busy bless his heart hope he doesn't work too hard and you take care Steve..tell everyone at YCR i said hello. Awesome video extremely good 👍 👏 👌.
Only one word comes to mind: "GENIUS"
The floor renovations you were responsible for were thought out and executed incredibly well. Thank you.
I enjoy the change of music
19:28 So satisfying to watch this … what a great job this must be.
What a real talent, well done!
You guys are master sheetmetal workers. I have never seen such detailed work. Can't wait to see the Colin Mobile complete.
Awesome work as always... and nice to see you not only wearing a welding mask, but the airfed one no less!
Most of those small panel fabricaions are a work of art! I'm not a car buff in general, but love watching resoration projects - superb!
Enjoyed the small changes on this Video, nice Music as well :) Keep up the Great Content
skill, skill, and more skill right there ! serious amount of work going into this, and proper eye opening to watch 👌
Every time i see the e30 im thinking, there cant be more rust right? Wrong! Its quite overwhelming I'd imagine. Brilliant work as always.
Beautiful job as always ste, true master at work…..I’ve watched you from day one and self taught myself, got plenty of cars through there mot(people I know ect)structurally in some cases, just by watching your videos.Always wanted to be able to weld, and by watching your channel made it possible for me(it gave me the push, and learning curve I needed😉👍)
I'm in no position to judge but that looks like lovely craftsmanship. Such intense labour (and experience) needed for a 4sq inch section!
I sure am envious of that welding table!
I love everything about this. cool restoration and super chill music to vibe to.
Outstanding workmanship there Steve - as usual. Bloody good job lad.
I find this very therapeutic. 👍
Thank you :)
Grinder safety has left the chat
Ps. You are really great craftsman and restoring old cars is truly god’s work
Wonderfull panel work there, very much enjoyed the vid. Thanks for posting.🌱
Hi from France. Great job. Like nothing happened!
I watch a lot of videos and know I could do an equally good job myself. I don't generally think that for anything you guys do, impressive work.
You, Steve, are an absolute artist.
Thank you :)
Ayup Steve hope your well bud another superb bit of restoration 😉👍🏻🇬🇧
You make it look so easy. Well done.
Good metal work skills, love all the new tools for flange making, 20+ years ago, blocks of wood, chisel & hammer, great video. 👍
That car gonna be better then it came out the factory
I’m completely addicted to the mesmerising perfection of YCR. 👏👏
Well done. That's some really nice artwork you have done. Great job. Looking foward to the next one.
Your background music is absolutely tops! Fits perfectly with your videography.
More excellent work from the maestro Steve!
You make everything you do look so easy!
The skills you’ve honed over the years are second to none pal!!!
I wonder if soup classic motoring watches this channel
Yes and I watch his as well. We have chatted :)
Great work!
Amazing stuff
Brilliant work 👏
Super job.
Easy! Anyone with a couple of decades of hard work and experience can do this 😅
Great video ❤
I really like those rechargeable, magnetic repair lamps. Such a good idea to be able to flood an area with light so that you can really see what’s going on.
I’m very conscious of lighting, having just bought a house with a double garage / workshop. The PO only used it to park cars in so he had six bulbs in the ceiling. I’ve replaced these with six, five foot long, ultra bright LED strip lights. OMG, the lighting at last is almost as bright as outside on a moderately sunny afternoon.
Wonderful!
The Master at work, Thanks Steve.
Top work Steve
Great work once again, superb video too!
You have certainly honed your craft to a fine art. What an incredible eye for putting all the little pieces together! Thanks for sharing!
Brilliant work, just brilliant.
Pleasure to watch a master at work. Yuri Geller could learn a lot about shaping metal from you! Superb craftsmanship. How long until the rust box is full?? 😉
Excellent to watch, as always. Many thanks and best wishes.
Fabulous work Steve.
Your work is excellent. We eagerly await the next episode
amazing work steve
Thanks for the video. Another great job.
You guys are true artists, fantastic work.
You do the loveliest tiny little welding points, so perfect clean! Never seen anywhere else! Perfect job, respect! ✊ 👍
very nice repair.
Quality craftsmanship 👍
Fascinating Fab.
Delightful, watching skilled creation such as this.....🤔😳😏🇬🇧
Like the factory 👍 👌
Nice work very impressive 👌👍
Absolutely awesome video and work Steve 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Mate you do a fantastic work.
OK..... I'am impressed
Just like a bought one, great work
Awesome that Steve
Unbelievable, you are a magician.
Mastery in metal, stunning workmanship as usual,
Great work as always. Truly awe inspiring. Also loving the new music.
Brilliant to see your skill and experience in doing a job like this. Thank You
Respect for your precise and calm work. Greetings from Northern Germany.
I think we should compare cost breakdowns. I have a feeling that the amount of work and time that goes into this car resto has to be near what it cost colin to build his fancy garage.
Very impressive to be honest 👌
Amazing
Great work thank you
Lookong good lads!
Very impressive work! Love to watch you channel! You guys are magicians with sheet metal.
Behave that’s naughty work 💪🏻
WOW ... @19:10 I didn't realise BMW put so much work into making an ashtay- that puts many pub ones from the 70's to shame. Nice metalworking Mr Steve (great Name) I would wonder though, as a retired smw would a powered English Wheel be of good use/ I used to use a manual one back in the day as well as a manual Swage similar to yours but with a geared crank (which did my head in tbh!! lol)- The English Wheel was great for forming bends and curves that would take ages using swages and beating.- #justAthought
Love the new music used, from “Aux Jack”.
Shazam helps find out what it is.
Fascinating to watch. By the time it’s done Colin will have paid 5 times for this what he would for a new one.
Not really because it's for free
@@yorkshirecarrestorationwell i didn't expact this reaction... but still, if it's not by the look of the work it's worth it!
Its intricate detials like in this video you guys show how tallented you really are!!
good stuff, the close up time lapse video is the future. One will never need "self help" if they know "how to". Cheers
Stagger me! You blokes are good!
perfect just perfect
Brilliant work I am learning a lot from you, been working on cars for years but not so much the bodywork, obtain new air tools recently so I can get work done, thankyou,
Glad our vids are helping as that is why we do this :)
Thankyou, been watching you chasing your anvil across the workbench when shaping panels, I use the non slip matting from B&q it's usually for under rugs but is brilliant and cheap, great work can't stop watching just trying master the mig welding, I can stick weld no problem any size but thin sheet is another skill, 👍
Fantastic work 👍 I'm taking notes. Wish you were doing the metal work on my project car.
Perfektion bei der Arbeit
Awesome
