  • We went shopping at the Wednesday Market in Siena, Italy. This is one of Tuscany's biggest markets and an interesting place to spend an hour or two if you happen to be in Siena on a Wednesday. You can even grab some lunch there!
The market is open fairly early and closes by 1:30pm, so be sure to get there before then.
We had a fun time walking around, checking out the different stalls and vendors. There's clothing, jewelry, kitchenware, plants, flowers, pottery, produce, and local Tuscan and Siennese products, as well as foods from various regions in Italy. We bought cheese, sausages, and bread for charcuterWednesday. We did our best to speak Italian. You can judge how it went...

Learning a little of the country you are visiting is a fun challenge. Nice video. Are you two ever coming back to Sarandë again?

Agreed! It definitely enhances the experience of traveling when you can speak a bit of the local language (or at least try to!). Thanks so much for commenting :) We would love to go back to Sarandë, but we don't have any specific plans to return yet. One day!
