    Well, here I am in Sienna stuck in my hotel room quite sick for 3 days. Unable visit anyplace besides the bathroom, your video helped me experience everything I am missing in person. Your videography was stunning of the Duomo's architecture inside and out, and the town hall, baptistry, and library frescos, both in the close ups and the expansive views. Thank you for letting me experience virtually what I am missing in person. Gary, Chicago USA

    I spent three summers and one year in Siena, and I can say that you did a really good job of pointing out most of the wonderful sights here. I find that a lot of tour videos emphasize boozing and partying, but you focused on the culture and overall atmosphere and ambience of this wonderful city. Good job!

    Wow, such a well made video! Right now we are actually just 3 hours away from Siena, so almost feel like we want to jump into the car and explore the city after watching your video! All the 10 tips seems very interesting, but as we love views our favourite places listed in the video are Medici Fortress with the park on top and the beautiful view, also Mangia Tower with its 400 steps and view (love the history behind the name), and the stunning Duomo and the view from it. The architecture inside reminds us of Rocchetta Mattei. Love the editing as well! Good job!

      Thank you soo much. That view from the fortress is really nice. Siena really offers so much. I think the best idea is to spend few days in Tuscany and join Siena, San Gimignano and Florence in one amazing trip.

    • @rokgoesaround
      @rokgoesaround  Před 2 lety +3

      Well to film this it takes longer than a usual visit. In Siena most of the things can be seen in one day as the town is very compact. But personally I would prefer two days to really soak up the city.

      Please show me those amazing places! I might go in around Oct 6th this year . I'm still trying to decide what city to go to. Siena is one of the options❤️
      I have been to Florence already, Cinque Terre, Pisa, and of course Rome. This time I'll be in Rome again and the Amalfi coast. I need one more city to complete my trip. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

    So Siena really could claim anything for itself. If I heard you right on your other video they tried to be Florence but couldn't and now you are saying, they tried to be Rome and also couldn't. Siena sounds like a wanna be. haha No worries, I'll still visit it and will keep my mouth shut about what I think of their place.

    • @rokgoesaround
      @rokgoesaround  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Actually they were rivals to Florence and lost against them. But the story of Siena origin is a sequel to the story of Rome origin.
