    Pisa has much more to offer travellers and the city deserves to be discovered. The locals are friendly, the Italian food is great and the city is full of history and things to do.

    Unfortunately, most people come to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower and take a picture and move on. The Baptistery of the Cathedral of Pisa is the largest Baptistery in the world. Italians should prohibit all the junk around Piazza dei miracoli. This part is paradise for different kind of scammers.

    Most people only visit here for the leaning tower and a way to get to Florence. Is it worth a day trip?

    Hi, i am travelling to Pisa with my family and i have kid of age 6, now my question is, if i want to take her, for example to Cathedral, is it enough if i buy other ticket for myself ? No where it is written about kids age and ticket prices.

    • @rokgoesaround
      @rokgoesaround  Před 2 měsíci +1

      The Cathedral is free of charge, but you must get a free ticket at the ticket office also for the child. The minimum age for Pisa tower is 8 years. Kids under age 11 are free of charge, but you must get a free ticket at rhe ticket office.

    • @jagadishkurli
      @jagadishkurli Před 2 měsíci

      @@rokgoesaround Yes, i understand the Cathedral is free, but one should have another basic ticket to other monumnet atleast. My question is, i am booking Pisa tower ticket with timeslot for me and my wife. So, in order to get the kids ticket, is adult tickets are enough(purchased online) or do i need to still go the ticket office and collect the free tickets for my kids.
