Mike, I’m sorry to see you go. I also understand...or at least I think I do. You have always been one of the “good guys” on the platform and in the hobby. You were a trailblazer and you deserve far more from the platform than you received. The hobby is better thanks to your efforts. My life is better thanks to your efforts. Thank you. I hope whatever interest you find yourself immersed in next that it brings you great joy. Much love. Be well.

As always, well thought out and reasoned, typical of you bud! So glad that the hobby continues while the living ends, you're so lucky not to walk away burnt out from the hobby. You've been an inspiration, a friend and youtube won't be the same without you. You'll go into history as one of the founding pillars of the terrain building community on youtube.
No doubt whatever you go into next, you'll tackling it with the same dedication and perfection as you did with this. Good luck buddy!

You’ve been a huge inspiration to me Mike. To be honest I was considering for a while now to contact you to see if you’d like to do a collaboration and just talk shop together. I feel like we’ve got a lot in common and I’ve always felt the quality you’ve put in to your videos was above and beyond what was out there in the genre. I wanted to emulate that with my own and you’ve been a major source of inspiration for me and my channel. And I’m right there with ya on the comparison part. I’m *constantly* doing that and comparing myself to others, especially in the CZcams world. I even have a quote on my computer screen to help me to stop. I think there is several variants out there but it goes something like this: “Comparison is the root of all misery, the only person you should try to be better than is the one you were the day before.” It’s really sad to see you go mike. For the record youtube burnout is a huge and common thing for many content creators out there according to some channels I watch and podcasts I listen to. So, I really hope you consider coming back some day and are able to reignite the passion you had when you first began. I totally understand your decision though and wish nothing but the absolute best for you in your future endeavours. Again, really sad to see you leave. You’ve made some amazing content and your passion for the hobby and attention to detail has been hugely inspirational for me. Anyway, I think I’m rambling now, so all the best Mike. Take care and really hope I get to see you again some day. Send me a message if you ever want to take me up on that collab and spend some time talking shop, perhaps while we tinker away with our little projects.🙂

So I missed this when it was originally posted, and I was thinking about your channel just today and looked it up to find this. You may never see it but here it goes anyway. Thank you for everything you did with your channel. I haven't been involved in the miniature terrain hobby at all, but I always loved your channel in particular. Your attention to detail and the way you would talk through your process has been so inspirational to me. I fell like the way you process information and approach challenges is very similar to my own. So watching you make incredible things was such an inspiration, and was very foundational to my own channel. Lately I've been feeling like I've 'lost my direction' and your line about the tipping scale of input vs reward hit close to home. I not ready to move on, I think i have some things to try to capture the magic again, but I digress. I'm glad you posted a last video and I wish you all the happiness moving forward!

I think I've been following your channel for almost all 11 years, even over an account change or two.
It's kind of bittersweet, sad to see you go, but happy your library of work will be here to reference in the future even for new people to the hobby in the future.
But thank you... Thank you for all the years of wonderful content, entertainment and advice.
And good luck and best wishes for you and your future journey and wherever that takes you.
    Take care :)

Thank you for the years of knowledge, learning, and entertainment you have provided me. You were one of the first youtube channels i subscribed to and watched on a regular basis. The terrain and projects you have shown through out the years has inspired me greatly. I always wished i had the extra funds to support you on patreon as you deserve it for the content you have provided. I know you will be back in one form or another. You are a teacher. You started with kids and moved onto terrain crafters. I look forward to the next skill you wish to inspire and teach the next audience. Take care and wish you the best!

I got into building terrain and dioramas because of you good sir. I'll never be able to say thank you enough, I have not only learned so much from you but I've always been so inspired by ever video you've made. I don't normally comment or what not and haven't been along for the whole ride but man you opened up my mind a passion I always had for this stuff but just never felt like I could get into and do. I hope to see you again on this platform. I used to sit and watch your videos and utalized them as basically tutorials in many ways. So thank you I just really wanna say thank you. I feel like you are like the cool uncle I always wanted haha
