@@ShelbyFlyer oh I know Shelby, trust me, my 40 year old had mustangs most of his life and now he has a 2019 and added all of the Shelby ground effects on it to make it look like one, but he added the water cooler and put twin turbo’s on it but they are under the chassis hooked to the exhaust where you can’t see them, plus a bunch of more racing equipment on the car. It’s a ten speed automatic and we got 130 just coming out of 3rd gear with it, it’s super fast like the one in this video, but the one in the video is all stock equipment, my son sunk around $10,000 more into his to get it like it is, but that’s why I was so impressed with the one in the video because it comes stock like that and is just as fast as my son’s car. My son probably has around $65,000 tied into his, Lol what I was thinking when I saw this video is that he probably would have done better just paying the $75,000 or whatever it is that the stock GT Shelby cost and already have a car made up to suit his needs instead of sinking all the money and aggravation he did putting everything into his car even though he did all the work himself. I believe both cars will top out around 180 mph or better , but the GT Shelby has so many more features than my sons car and it is awesome.

Hey Tim! Got my 2022 on order, do you have any recommendations for things I should ask my local dealership concerning maintenance/services & discussing delivery after it’s shipped from the dealer I bought it from? Any particular advice you could shed on taking delivery, taking it in for service, etc? I’ve built plenty of vehicles so I’m fine with doing my own oil changes and trans flushes and so on, just thought I’d reach out and ask your opinion on your experiences. Thanks and love the videos!

@@ShelbyFlyer deal. Had a transition fault tonight. I've got a venom 1000, from 2021. When I got it, the like third day after the purchase, sitting if traffic for like 10 miles, it did it like 3 times and I clicked into drive and it smoothed out and that was Sept 13. But there was an issue w the warrenty from hennessey and I was like naw. When I got there it was a SUPER HIGH PRESSURE SALE. Super high. And it was super hard to convince myself to take it back in the first. And then tonight it did it a few times, the I got a wrench, and a check manual and then it was barely able to get to a parking lot. Then I let it sit and cursed the gods for like 5 mins and just wanted to see if it was still there, just do the ignition but no start. And it's gone now. And it goes through the modes ( I almost cried when I saw that) I drive it home. Some like 70% throttle maybe 4 times on the way home. Afr looks good like 11.5 afr on eth at idle, power feels normal maybe once or twice on the way home tiny lil jerk in between the shifts. But nothing like before. Then when I get home, turn it off, give it a few mins turn it back on fully just to see ot it comes back, it did not.

Why would you do launch control when you’re trying to sell it. Some people see that as devaluing it. Even dealerships will check if you were to trade it in and tell you it goes down doing LC. And the price you said in the video in regard to this car and what you want out of it has definitely decreased with using LC.
