- This weeks adventure takes us into the heart of the island to the area where the first Jurassic Park movie was filmed. We floated thru a cane tunnel to a beautiful waterfall!
**SUPER FAN CORRECTION** It is POSSIBLE that poles we show didn't hold the actual Jurassic Park movie gates. It is POSSIBLE that the real gate was about 300 feet past the poles shown on the video. The gates might not be accurate; however, THIS IS the area where Jurassic Park was filmed. So use your imagination and Enjoy!

We just did the gates a few weeks ago - I'm editing it now! That road is BEAT UP. We had a lot of fun, but it did start raining quite hard, so we turned around just before the T-Rex paddock. Looking at your video, though, we were SO CLOSE! Next time. ;) Nice drone shots.

To anyone that has a chance to visit Kauai, don't pass up the "Jurassic Falls" tour from Island Helicopters. My wife and I had the opportunity to go on this tour while on our honeymoon. Brodi is a great pilot and a fantastic story teller. We learned a lot of really interesting facts and stories about the island. Our original intention was to see Jurassic Falls as I'm a huge fan of the JP series, but that was just the tip of the iceberg on this tour. My wife and I were both in tears towards the end because the experience was so beautiful. If there's one thing you should do for sure on Kauai, it's this tour!

We can't.....the road is CLOSED. We talked about it in our last live video. We wanted to do a video but now that we are monetized we have to get filming permits when filming on State/County property..... :(
Awesome amazing video. I personally didn't like the music choice but maybe it's just me the beautiful rainforest I wanted something less adrenaline more relaxing. You take great videos ! The angles you use and the aerial drone shots are excellent! Great editing too! I will be there in March and wish I could find the irrigation tubes as it looked like you two were pretty much alone
Thank you so much!! You can take a tour to those irrigation tubes. The ones that we went too are really hard to get to and would be a terrible idea in a rental car.
My husband and I are major Jurassic Park fans. I am hoping we can go there in about two years. Definitely want to see the gates and the paddock. Is October a good time to go? Is that a more dry season?
Aloha! October is a great time to visit. Weather can be tricky here of course so it's hard to say the very best time to avoid rain. Brodi flies for Island Helicopters and they have a tour that LANDS at Jurassic Falls! You will love it!

I think the so-called Super Fan is full of it. As if there would be two random poles sticking up in the middle of a Kauai forest for no apparent reason that just happen to be 300 yards from where the actual Jurassic Park gates were located. Right...

I'm sure you'll see us around at some point! We lived on Oahu for 3 years. You'll miss out on all the shopping, restaurants, decent movie theater, night life, entertainment...hahaha! BUT Kauai makes up for it in the small town feel, people, incredible small businesses and outdoor activities!

Looks difficult to get to. How about the hikes on the napali coast?
You definitely need a 4X4 vehicle to get to this location and we wouldn't recommend driving there in a rental car but you could hike in.....it would just be a very long hike. You can do many hikes in the Waimea Canyon where you'd get a wonderful view of the NaPali Coast. We plan on doing more hiking videos in the future! Mahalo for watching!

We definitely do have spiders here!! The water is continuously rushing through those tunnels so my guess is they don't have the opportunity to set up camp there ;) haha!
