I am sure the sapphire choker, gifted to Diana by the Queen Mother, will appear at some point. The formal engagements and overseas visit of Heads of State are measured, and it is at these events where these fabulous pieces are worn.

There's a lot of confusion between jewels belonging to the Crown, used by Royal members on duty on permission by the Monarch, and those Who belong privately to single members. Tiaras are all owned by the Country. The engagement ring was private belonging of Diana, inheritated by William, for example.
Not working royals (as M&H) can't use Crown juwelles, Catherine as Princess of Wales in charge of course does (on King's approval).
I'm mystified about those South Sea pearl earrings - the structure of the diamonds certainly looks like it but the pearl drops on Kate's are surely smaller - less round and more teardrop. The earrings look to me as though the pearls have been changed.
