  • We flew KPAO to KHAF (touch and go) and back to KPAO IFR on a cloudy day here in the Bay Area. This was my first time flying instruments. I am with CFI Mark Erwin (www.mark1aviation.com). We are flying N2407N, a Cessna 172SP with G1000.
Landing at KHAF starts at 23:00.

Good video. How did you mount the camera inside the cabin? What kind of suction cup do you use? Thanks

Gnani Balaraman I use an expandable aluminum rod with suction cups on each end and a camera mount in the middle. It was originally designed for the older 172 (without shoulder belts) to go horizontally behind the front seats between the rear windows. I use it vertically between the floor and ceiling between the front seats (because I have center ceiling mounted shoulder belts). Unfortunately it's no longer made or sold.
