Just received my new FX Dreamline Lite (First FX Rifle) and straight out of the box it appears that the Hammer/shuttle is sliding up and down when tilting the rifle forwards and backwards, thanks to your video I can give the agent a detail explanation for my first FX Warranty claim...

Great vid and i see you have the same problem with the wear on the main spring adjuster, i find i have to clean it and the trigger about ever 2000 pellets so will try that fix you showed. Was interested to see that you have a hammer weight of sorts mine came without one ex factory.

Difficult question, there are a few that I could suggest, I think for an out of the box rifle it would be hard not to suggest Air Arms ultimate Sporter R, what they make works great and is well thought out and engineered, they are, in my opinion a little boring, but they defiantly do what you want them too. Other than them FX do make very nice stuff, and most, not all though, of FX products are absolutely fantastic, its not until you go back to other rifles when you realize how good the FX rifles are, for a sub 12 rifle, I would recommend the Dreamline classic or tactical, that, I believe is the best rifle FX make for sub 12 out of the box. To be honest everyone I have seen has been good out the box, you obviously have to check the rifle does not have any cosmetic damage but apart from that if it hasn't been messed up by the previous owner or shop it should be good to go, I would go for the Dreamtac or Dreamline classic with the wood stock, as the Dreamlite is not very comfortable to shoot. But apart from that I think they are great little rifles. Thanks for watching.

Sorry I don't sell it, have you spoken to FX? Someone else I know had the same problem and he got a replacement part from FX, not sure if it was modified though as he had it fit by his RFD. But worth a Email at the least. Thanks for watching.

Great video of the disassembly. How many orange are there in this air rifle and where do you get your replacement or inks from? Also how often do you tear it down like this and how often do you clean your barrel? Thanks for posting this. I just sent MI email in yesterday for a leak. I was only getting 4-5 shots per fill. Also MI email leaked about 1 bar every minute static and about 80 bar in 3 hours static.
You can find the sizes and number on the FX website, they give all the different sizes for each model, some of the o rings a little hard to find so I use a few different O ring suppliers but mainly simply bearings,A full tear down normally only happens when we first get the rifle, or when something goes wrong, the reg gets serviced every few months or so, but that's not necessary for every rifle, barrel cleaning happens usually when we start to see excess flyers in the groups, or when the accuracy drops significantly. That's quite a lot of air to be loosing, it could be coming from a number of places so you are best off finding the leak and replacing the o rings around it. Thanks for watching
100% Dreamtac, no question, its a much better built rifle with a more stable chassis, it performs better than my maverick and I have never had a problem with this rifle and its done over 20,000 pellets. I personally don't like the maverick and can't recommend them. Thanks for watching.

A quick question if you have the time regarding replacement gauges - Wika gauges are more accurate and much more ‘readable’ due to their larger scale but you would know if the 28mm Wika gauge can be used to replace the existing FX 23mm gauge at the cylinder position, or does the increased diameter prevent the cylinder being fully tightened. Very good question, I have just had a look on my rifle and the Wika gauge will just fit, it sticks out further from the body and the cylinder goes behind it, if that makes sense. the only thing is I don't know if you could guarantee that you could line the logo with the bottom, it may be rotated one way or the other. but on my rifle at least it fits fine. With the short barrel you have to use the FAC spring to get 12 ft/lb out of the rifle, I believe the Dreamtac compact will only achieve low power in the short barrel configuration, with the larger calibers and longer barrels you get more power but in the .177 barrel you need the FAC spring to get 12ft/lb. And would you be interested in turning up the part once drawn?
Great video. Best I've seen. Can I pick your brain? I have dreamline with reg set to 60 bar(just of 50 bar line) shooting 8.44 jsbs @760 to 800 FPS. How do I approach reducing that extreme spread? I do have unistalled power plenum. Tbh my smk xs79 is more consistent...
Sounds like a reg issue, you could try rebuilding the regulator and making sure everything is alright in there. second have a play with different reg pressure and hammer spring settings. Thanks for watching.

It will shoot with 6 fps spread when dialled down to 8 fpe. something is wrong here, or my chrono reads over 100 fps low. Ordered full service kit and new chrono, no airgun shop around me want to compare chronos, and they say they will destroy the gun if i come in to check it and it shoots hot!!!

I have a cheapo hatsan gladius I really like the look of it but the accuracy is terrible, would be great if you could work your magic on one to see if they're even half capable of my impact.

If you have a spot open on your FAC ticket then yes, but you are better off buying an FAC rifle from the factory, you will get the right spring and reg pressure set for FAC use. Thanks for watching.
Remember, once it becomes FAC it has to stay Section 1 and can never go back to being sub12. Even if you drop the power sub12, it has to stay on an FAC slot.

some don't mate i think the early 300mm 177 have the weight but most of the others don't 👍
