Sir you invented my imagined machine Shakti Prokriya Karan yantra or machines. This power acceptor help new type quantum computer. Love India
That things awesome :)
Are you still a magician or are you doing other things these days?
Just wondering if this channel has officially changed into a puzzle orientated channel or if the magic is just on hiatus due to the pandemic.
Regardless I'm still enjoying your content and will still support your channel, hope all is well bro ✌️
You are filling up your future warehouse with some neat things!
Get yourself a power screwdriver Chris..
(or a cute assistant :)
That was awesome Chris, a real pleasure to talk to you in more detail about how the piece came together and a great pleasure to get to build it for you. Many thanks.
Craig, you're a genius!!
Craig that is an absolutely amazing and gorgeous piece of work! Especially more so now that we get to see the genius involved in making it work. Seriously wow is all I can say.
I agree you are a genius ,that amazing internals
Amazing work!! Will you put up the plans for sale?
Hey Craig! Your creations are mind blowing.
Who else wants National Treasure 3 to finally be made with Chris as a costar/villain/involved in some way?!?
that's what i was thinking too.. yay
National Treasure: Canadian edition.
oh yeah, please!!
@@joeg8200 International Treasure
No wonder it cost so much: expensive wood and metals, the ideas and all those gears and pulleys. Electronic puzzles with computer boards can be made so cheaper but they don’t have this level of ingenuity
And four years of work for two people.
This dude has spent enough money on puzzle boxes to buy a house and I respect him for this
His channel is a business and he invests wisely in that business. He's producing some of the best content on youtube and has the subscribers to show it.
For what wasting money 💰??
@@mypeeps333 I see that as an investment.

Just because it has a certain price, doesn't mean he payed that much for it. It's a $40,000 puzzle, that probably cost him nothing
I can see someone visiting his house and they ask “Wow cool chalice. Can I lift the glass?”
“Sure go ahead…” it disappears as they pull it off excitedly.
And then Chris just starts laughing hysterically
I'd think Chris'd have the presence of mind to instead look surprised and go "What did you do!?"
would be better if he was like, "what did you do?!" as it disappears and the person goes, "nothing I just lifted the glass" in shock. and then Chris goes, "thats never happened before! I hope you can get it back..." seeing if they can discover anything.
Chris: "I'll be in my office..."
My head: "... Making no noise and pretending I'm not there".
Omg yesss 😂
"... making no noise and pretending i dont exist"
Love it!
This puzzle reminds me of The Room games on the phone. Props to whoever designs these things. I specially love really intricate ones like this. If only I had the cash to buy something like this 😆
Best puzzle games ever
I said something nearly the same!! Great minds!!
What do you mean whoever designs these things. The video is literally about the person that designed this thing.
I knew it reminded me of something, dammit! I couldn't remember the name of those games. They are great. They're the only phone games I've paid for. It's so cool to see something like it brought to life.
Holy Grail = where magic, craftsmanship, ingenuity, and engineering meet.
Knowing the mechanics of _how_ this puzzle works, and the imagination that went into building it, is as fascinating (if not more) than the thing itself. How insanely cool.
I would love to some day have a piece by Craig. His skill, craftsmanship and love for what he does is....there's no words. Cool to see the inner workings of this puzzle and to have craig talk about it. Thanks Chris and Craig for the amazing pieces of wonder for us to enjoy....and sometimes drool over hahaha.
I loved the intro! The solving process in a b-roll!
I LOVE this! This is as good as seeing the solve of the puzzle. It's incredible how it all works and the craftsmanship that has gone into creating it. Just amazing. Hats off to you Craig & thanks for sharing Chris
Chris just gets it man🍸. He just gets it!!!
AH MAZING!!! that's what it is.
i recently found Chris's video. now i binge watch his videos.. imagine being near these puzzles.. Awesome..
It's so great to have a video showing the craftsmanship behind this. It made me appreciate how insanely well-made every little detail was.
Chris, this is your best video ever. I love the close-ups of the mechanisms and you can see how the inner workings work and I love looking at all the gears and it gives people ideas for new inventions and new creations
Rad as always! Thanks for sharing with us the inner workings. Just as exciting as watching you solve the puzzles.
This may not be the most complex puzzle to solve on your channel, but I think it's the most beautiful and elegant puzzle you have to date!
Really loved the intro and the almost ASMR nature of just the music and you solving the puzzle so effortlessly.
That is one of the most satisfying pieces of machinery I've ever seen. This is a fantastic piece of work, a great puzzle, and a beautiful showcase of ingenuity. Great job all around.
Ahh it's always fun watching you solve puzzles or just talking about puzzles. Thank you for a great time again, Chris! :)
Absolutely great to see the mechanism and the insights into the design.
I litteraly was waitig for it since i saw the solving. I love itttttt😍
What an absolutely astounding work of art! Thanks for making this video.
Simply amazing,,,I find myself figuring some or most of these out by watching you take that next step that's in my head. Incredible.
An amazing work of art and engineering. Love that there are no electronic components- really contributes to its mystique. Thanks for sharing the inner-workings and design process. What an amazing way to inspire future puzzle craftsmanship.
The mechanism and behavior of the grail rising and falling is sheer joy. I agree with Chris that having only a few steps makes for better puzzle. It *does* need to have minimal puzzle aspects, but the real show-case is the rising and falling of the grail. While this isn't the first puzzle I've seen with a clever mechanism, this is the best mechanism I've seen in terms of sheer awesomeness of the experience.
Kudos to Craig for building such an amazing piece of art: Chris definitely got his money's worth.
I love your videos!❤️❤️ Whenever I watch your videos it makes me feel like I am capable of thinking outside of the box, thanks for letting me think and work harder!!
Thanks for the look inside. It's wonderful to see both the level of ingenuity and craftsmanship that when into this piece, and the respect these two have for each other.
Hope the channel continues to grow and we can get more high investment videos like this!
I can watch the cup go up a hundred time and be as surprised as was the first time. It's amazing! Love this kind of puzzle
Wow thanks for the chat with the builder loved it.
At first I was disappointed that you made us wait for another video to see the inside of this puzzle, but I for real never expected this. The details, the explanation from the guy that built it. The short wait was worth it in the end. Awesome video as always
This piece is like an illusionist giving a backstage tour and showing off all the mechanical engineering that goes into so many high end illusions.
The beginning of this is the most awesomest thing ever and I also want to say this has to be the greatest puzzle of all time I love the sound of the ratcheting at the end as you finish unlocking the puzzle that is just the best
Thank you for that video ! So interesting to see the amount of work required for such a cool puzzle ! Keep up the great work , awesome channel ;)
Thanks for sharing! Being able to solve this piece is obviously a mystery but to understand what's going on behind the scenes is an even greater mystery. I still can't get over how long it must have taken to design it. A couple of beautiful minds
What an intrigue mechanism. Nice intro with the perfect camera angles. A nice way to showcase the solving as you now memorized it. More mechanical puzzle solving please
Amazing piece of work there. Also love the overview of your office space. What an awesome desk you have there.
Thank you for the behind the scenes look. I love the furniture puzzles! Wish I could have a roll top desk with secret drawers!
Really liked this BTS. Great to see your magnificent studio from more angles. More, please. 😊
I loved the puzzle video, but THIS was the one I was waiting for. I wanted to see how that masterpiece worked!
Another great magical piece to add to the collection of Professor Ramsay 🧙♂️
And good ol' Antoine tossing that thing together for the solve, guy is amazing.
I loved this video! It’s like getting to see behind the scenes of a big magic trick, but also like the engineering of a very expensive toy!
Sick puzzle like buddy was saying about the magic in the puzzle or in any puzzle thats what keeps me watching these puzzles are so mind blowing great job to the creator. Awesome video chris have a good one.
Absolutely incredible. Blew my mind!
Wow that intro! I feel like that would make for a great second channel! B Roll Solves. I love watching and listening to you work your way through the puzzles, but that b roll solve was stunning.
ChrIS IM LOVING THESE VIDEOS pls continue blowing our minds with this rad puzzles 🤩
I think I enjoyed watching this even more than the solving! 🤯🤯🤯
This is a beautiful piece of art.
Wow what an amazing piece
It’s always good to see youuuuu❤️❤️🤌🏻🤌🏻
This video is SO interesting. That puzzle is so cleverly made. The guys who made it really are smart. Your channel is awesome by the way. It’s everything that I love! Well done! 👍🇬🇧
Just want to thank Antwan for all the amazing work he has done thus far. I would love to have a friend like you. I bet you have helped Chris many times over throughout his career.
Amazing. Thanks for this.
I love this puzzle and immensely enjoyed watching both videos. I wish there was a 3rd video with more detail on the wood-working and machining that went into this puzzle. It's a gorgeous piece of art and it looks like Craig used very high-quality wood and components. Freaking no electronics - I couldn't get enough of this puzzle when you revealed this! Does Craig have a video on manufacturing this puzzle?
That thing belongs in a museum! Beautiful craftsmanship and ingenious mechanics. No electronics involved. What a dream piece.
This beyond epic love the mechanics
Hope these vids blow up they're incredible
dude this is amazing
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
So ingenious! Wow…a true master engineer.
Amazing puzzle, amazing mechanism...Hoping to see more puzzles from Craig in the future...maybe a star wars themed one? jedi/sith holocrons might be a good idea?
Anyway...thanks for sharing this video. Always glad to see a Chris new video
The editing in this one is great
The sounds this puzzle makes is so soothing.
That intro solve was excellent, some shorts like that in the future would be incredible!
Plus this is a beautiful piece of furniture I loved both videos
Genius piece of engineering
Dope piece
This is just insane!!! Super intresting and cool video to watch!!!!
Incredible puzzle 🤯. (Great intro too man 🤟)
Great video as always🙌🏻
I was just wondering, when the puzzle is solved, what keeps the Grale up when the magnets aren’t there?
Thanks for all the pleasure you give to us viewers😊
Such an epic piece!
love the painting in the background (:
As a mechanical engineer, I think that this is completly AWESOME ! Very nice design that will keep its accuracy over time. Very well done !
Excited for the reveal
Beautiful intro! They are getting better & better with each episode.
The quality of the puzzle and the solve is off the charts!
Too easy to solve.
Well crafted with quality materials.I would have expected more out of it for the cost.
Amazing video dude
Quality over quantity. It doesn't need 100 steps because what this does do, it does so well and it's so cool!
Pretty awesome dude!
I would watch one of these for every "pre-solve setup video's" please do more
such a beautiful puzzle 💜
Loved the original , but as someone who's in a trade , this was equally as satisfying. Kudos to the lads for the design and fabrication and yourself for a truely Awesome showcase 👏
🧡
Liking and commenting before I even watch you solve it. I know this will be crazy
I'd love to hear more the creators! 🎉 This was.... o holy grail! 😮❤
You always have awesome intro an great puzzles love it
its amazing watching the cup drop and the top of the wood work shut closed
100% agree it was the perfect length. It could have been longer for the sake of being longer, but this way it’s a fun solve that’s a logical progression instead of something impossible.
Plus it makes it so it’s still a show piece after he’s solved it because it’s short enough to show to visitors and stuff and remember how to do.
Hahaha! You could see the disappointment on Antoine's face when you tipped the box. 😆
This is such an awesome puzzle. It is really well made and the mechanics are really smart. It looks as though the dampening device (bit with the plunger) might not be working as well as intended though. If you look at its operation at 8:36 compared to when you do use it, it was much softer. Might be worth looking at as you don't want to stress the woodwork or mechanisms :)
Your intros never cease to impress!
You should make more videos about whats inside some of your most interesting puzzles and the creator's creative process!
I want to start building puzzle boxes and hope to one day be able to build beautiful pieces like this. I'm trying to learn how to make mechanisms now. I've been building jewelry boxes for about a year now and want to start integrating hidden compartments.
This has given me so many ideas for my own designs..
Who knows, maybe you'll try solving one of mine someday, it'd be only fitting since you got me into this stuff
So satisfying! 🖤🏆
Woah you did say dope!!!! Good job! Hopefully you can keep it up, maybe pretend you're doing talking to Craig the whole time your solving videos cuz you were very modest with him.
Thank you for sharing how this amazing Holy Grail puzzle was created and including the interview you had with one of the makers.
Peace&Love&Light ☮☯️🕉
What next ? a house puzzle ? Like escape room but a entire house filled with puzzle in all the furniture and objects with secret passage ? @Chris Ramsay dream house lol.
The rising mechanism reminds me of a drawbridge type. So you have the leverage which clicks into a gear, and as you turn the gear the lever clicks against the gear to hold it into place, then you pull the lever and it'll unload or whatever
