The thing about upgraded car stereos, they're not always plug and play. I installed an Android head unit and it was a nightmare. But it was an older, very awkward design. Had to install a USB port, a WiFi antenna, a GPS antenna, the buttons on the steering wheel didn't want to talk to it and I had to completely hack the wiring together and then came the reverse camera.
Those are still a PITA to install if your vehicle doesn't have one.
You need to attach it to the numberplate, run a power wire to a reverse light and a data wire to the head unit. Running a wire the entire length of the car is great fun, threading that wire from the interior of the car into the tailgate is very fiddly and then you have to still run one more wire to a taillight and tap into the wire for the reverse light.
Now, modern systems are much easier, I learnt from my mistake and bought a system that uses the aux input of the existing radio. Not having to install a new head unit and adapters that all the wires match makes the job so much easier. So this unit plugs into a 12 volt power outlet and into the aux of the radio.
I still had to install a reverse camera, because my car is absolute poverty spec and doesn't even have central locking, electric windows or aircon.
it's better if your car doesn't have android auto or apple carplay, it's better not connect your phone on new cars. because of they're way of sending info's to your car dealership, like .... including the apps you use... daily 👍

Not everyone can afford a new car. My van has a wheelchair lift. It's an older van. To have that taken out of my old van and put into new one is horrendously expensive. The lift alone is 10,000.
