I haven’t written a check in forever. I received a paper check a few weeks ago and went into the bank for the first time in 2 years. I was so glad that deposit slips are no longer required because I haven’t completed one in years.

You can modify handbrake to rip DVDs and Blu-Rays (PC blu-ray drive required). just keep the discs in a storage and you'll be 100% legal there.
You can also Rip your CDs with Exact Audio copy or even iTunes (music app on macs)
I still love CDs and DVDs they wanted me to get rid of them because of cluttering and space but I said no.

The library has printers also! Most of the time the first like 10 pages a week are free, depending on the place, and every 10 pages after that is like, 25 cents. Libraries also rent audio books, so no need for audible, and movies and books too. All for free. The solution to MOST of this is literally the library

What's crazy about how cheap cell phones are is how cheap glucometers are. Diabetics being able to take care of themselves for cheap is just fantastic!
In the past, I've left my cellphone at home for Lent.

I prefer CDs over Vinyl records just so I can transfer it over to my phone a lot easier, but some things I actually can't get on CD so I have a mixed collection.
Glucometers have been inexpensive for years now. But the game was make meters inexpensive while the strips to use them were sky high. Today, glucometers are secondary home resources, having been surpassed by CGM's. Even test strips are affordable now!

Also if you have to pay a bill or send money to someone you can go on your bank's website and have them send a check for you.

I have 2 CD players, unfortunately my car no longer has a CD player 😪. I could get one, but they said it would be in the center console or the glove box. Weird, I don't think so. I have a 5 disc DVD player, and yes, a VCR. A tv antenna, I DO NOT pay cable or that streaming crap. Anyone still use cassette tapes?!
Just do yourself a favor and skip the entire section on vinyl. Like...entirely skip it. The host knows absolutely nothing about handling it, playing it, or cleaning it. Every bit of his advice is poor. Also, that record player he's using is like a garden rake for your records.
