- Watch as we surprise Joe Rogan with a pair of boots at UFC 300 made out of the elk that he harvested last fall. Track the elk from the hunt with Joe, Cam Hanes, and Evan Hafer, to the hide being conditioned at Seidel Tanning, and through the crafting of the finished leather into a perfect pair of boots at the ORIGIN™ bootmaking shop in Farmington, Maine.

Thank you all for watching!!! Who should we make custom boots for next???
Me?!?!? ✌️😎👍
Tony Hinchcliffe or Tom Segura
How about someone who can't afford boots not some rich sellout???
TRUMP
CAM... duh
Respect to Pete, immediately gives credit for the idea to his guy back at the factory after Joe gives it praise.
Would have been better if he mentioned the guy by name instead of "one of my guys"
@@brutalhonesty5138yes it definitely would've been, but who's to say he wouldn't have under less crazy circumstances? You usually have one chance to say something in a rush like that, he might've thought in his head "damn, should've said his name" and it was over.... you never know, but at least he didn't take credit for it, that's the most important thing IMO
It’s Ma-Yo! Not like mayonnaise 😂
Yes, respect. Not everyone does that.
@brutalhonesty5138 90% would of taken credit. Why would he say, "Hey, X (that you don't know) it was his idea. It's silly
Mayo knows his stuff for sure 7:51
"Do you feel the pressure?"
"Humm no no.... Just normal eh eh..." so casual 🤣🤣
thats usual people you want as your doctor or pilot
@@conflict6248that’s 100%!!! no pressure just like any other shoe.
exactly why they hired him hes good
Bro was like, I do this fr fr, it’s just another day
That's because real expert craftsmen have respect and care for every product they put their hands on
Love that Joe knew immediately that it was the arrow hole
“Nervous?” “No more than normal” because real experts care about every product they put their hands on
It's so cute when my different internet friends become friends.
When you realize you’ve found your tribe 👊
It's by design
@@DIARRHEA-PANIC yes because people can't just become friends organically, they are all conspiring.
Some elk hide boxing gloves would be sick
That sounds badass
Joe needs an Elk horn DMT pipe.
Wow, that is so great. I lived in Farmington Maine for 15 years. Back then there was one shoe factory (Cole-Haan) still operating and I had friends that worked there. I still live in Maine and plan on driving up there and buying a pair of ORIGIN boots. They have an outlet store there. (When you buy good quality boots they can last for decades.)
I first started buying from Cole-Haan when I bought a belt there that was solid leather and lasted for years. It never broke, just got too much wear over the years.
Most belts have that stupid screw in buckle that always breaks. And the plated leather cracks.
I have also now bought many shoes.
@@johningle1 There are some good quality brands made here in Maine. I bought black leather dress shoes from a small maker in Lewiston back in the late '90s that are now family heirlooms! When I went in the outlet they had a cobbler in the front room showing me how the shoes were made and how the soles could be replaced. I knew I wanted this experience because my wider family have been involved in leather and shoemaking. The huge factories seen in New England were making things.
@@johningle1 A lot of the Cole-Haan shoemakers from Farmington shifted to working for Sebago Moccasin. Nostalgically, Those Farmington Cole-Haan shoes were so nice.
8:38 nice to see Shaggy from Scooby Doo still has a place in 2024.
They immediately fired him after that shot of messing up Joe's boots.
@@burnheretic3950I heard they brought him out back 😮
I literally came to the comments to say why did they intro this "shoe whisperer" guy who's been doing it forever then let Shaggy loose with a needle lmao
Lmao buddy was too stoned to do his job right
I love Mayo ❤. I love his demeanor
“I just broke a needle on Joe Rogan’s elk” is a crazy sentence
great content from the Origns Team! well done
Those boots are a couple pieces of beautiful artwork. Really cool to see so many different people putting their hands on them and working with them and building something so amazing.
That's awesome!! I love the idea for the arrow hole. Glad Joe loved them!
This is incredible on so many aspects. Good to see Americans producing and being proud. Heads High my fellow Americans, we will not be defeated so Help me God.
Such a good idea with the entrance/exit
That thought of entry and exit being highlighted with red showed the thought put into this product and that's awesome!!
What I don't get is how they are able to put it on both boots because they even said themselves they only had one entry and one exit, which means two holes all together, and somehow they had four unless they faked it on the other boot.
@@juicewrld5884 one boot has entry, one boot has exit.
@@juicewrld5884 Wasn't the entry on one boot and the exit on the other?
Shout out to the whole team!!!!! Dennis! Great idea and execution
I do handcrafted leather so I really enjoyed this. And the BMF fight was great!!! Max back in too and Justin showed why he was the BMF belt holder! Amazing performance from both guys!
ORIGIN, I need some fire navy colored tac pants for work (Fire/EMS) PLEASE put these out soon!!!
Frickin awesome Origin.
man, you guys just came up with a great idea. Take someone's hide they earned from a hunt and turn it into something they can use everyday. That would be so awesome if you could do that for every American!
For the right price. A wealthy person in a capitalistic society can have almost whatever they want.
Unfortunately the price of doing it is too high cuz no one wants to accidentally ruin someone’s leather and no one wants their leather accidentally ruined lol Most hunters really only ever have ONE taxidermist that they trust with the job
@@rcnyoplait in every society, the right price buys you luxury, so deal with it!
I've replaced every shirt in my dresser with origin at this point. In central Florida, I have not seen a single person walking around with an Origin shirt aside from myself. To know there is a whole community up north all repping the team is super cool to see. Almost makes me want to pack up and move to Maine.
We need help spreading the word in Florida.
@@justintaylor6095 Indeed. Even a lot of the BJJ community down here isn't familiar.
Those boots came out badass!! Congratulations!!
I ❤️ old school craftsmanship. Great video
This is so awesome, great work guys
Appreciate you guys and what you do.
Absolutely fantastic job to everyone involved 👍
To see something like this come to fruition must be an incredible feeling. The videos in the past year have built up to this masterpiece! Love it, keep up these videos. 💙
I mean look at this scene 1:15, this is amazing.
The most incredible boot ever made right there 🇺🇸
Siedel leather on my two pairs of Nick's.
Might have to give Origin a try.
"I didn't come up with it. One of my guys did".... Love that 💯
The craftsmanship of these boots and the production of this video capturing the process is great high quality stuff!
Great story, awesome boots, and best fight I've seen.
instant follow! just made my first pair of boots recently with a christy wedge. im here for these vids!
I love how stressed everyone was but my guy Mayo is just chillin.
well done guys, u earned yourself a new fan and customer!
To see Glover Textarra deliver those boots was heart warming 😢
You put those boots away like you stole them and saw the person you stole them from coming, you didn’t even let Joe look at the boots.
Awesome job team! Those boots are amazing!
Great job guys. Those boots look amazing.
Mayo is a boss. So cool seeing craftsman like this still in the US
The video production and story-telling is so good.
These guys are 40 min NW of me. There's not much up there unless you're into outdoors activities or going to UMF but it's gorgeous year round.
I love seeing Maine craftsmen doing great things.
"is normal..."
- Mayo "The Spider" Silva
Bro, Pete is a GIANT!
One of the most bad ass things I’ve seen. Awesome guys.
He totally needs a matching belt and a ccw holster from that hyde 🔥 this was really cool. I was making leather pistol holsters 20+ years ago out of my house then hurricane Katrina wiped me out and I didn't get back into it. Something really cool about leather work.
10:20 hitting the nail on the head.
Killer content. Shout out to the people involved in making this video.
Every product I have bought from you all has been top notch!
Man, I love how many of my favorite people on the planet are intertwined. So Awesome!
It’s just an ad.
Really wish you guys made a comp round toe wedge sole, like the coronado 6"
Hats off to the editors of this video. Masterpiece!👌
You guys are Outstanding Americans! Keep up the great work!!!
Such nice work!
i watched all of it , a masterpiece
Keep up the good work guys you guys rock
That BMF fight was crazy!
One BMF-ing badass fight, indeed!! Lol
Amazing job Origin!
I love this business model !! I gotta get some origin boots now!
great video guys i loved it
Please make jiu jitsu belts!
Why stop there they should make Gi
I hate the sole. The boot is badass.
Dude who's idea it was deserves some credit!
joe rogan always being humble no matter what... amazing looking boots guys
Can’t wait to see Pete Roberts on JRE!!! He looks like Sasquatch standing next to Joe (all due respect to Joe)
Im from Jersey but i lived in Bangor for 5 yrs.. I might of stayed if there were jobs like that back then.. Yous are killing it.. Btw im obsessed with American made Boots.. I havent got a pair of origins yet but the Day you release your Moctoes thats gonna Change.. Im gonna be proud to wear them when that time comes… 👊
Moc Toes coming this fall! Thank you for the support!
IT WARMS MY HEART TO SEE REAL AMERICANS FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS AND CULTURES STRIVING TO BRING BACK MANUFACTURING. I LOVE YOU ALL AT ORIGIN....THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO THIS NATION....MAKE NO MISTAKE YOU ARE SERVING.
The "it wasn't my idea, it was one of my guy's" quote should be Origin's tagline
Good ass content right here. Keep it up, Origin.
This will definitely start a trend! What a great idea.
Two videos in a week?! What a treat
Nice work and good to see integrity at the top of the company. Would’ve been easy for Pete to say it was his idea but he gave his guy the credit. Too few people at the top do this.
I love that he gave props to the guy in the factory for the idea.
I love my Origin Bison boots!
Nice boots. I just placed an order for your hybrid boots. Now I’m just waiting for the release of the ones with the new welt.
The will also come to you and put in an entry wound while you're wearing them. Exit wound is optional.
BMF of the century!
"Do you feel the pressure?"
Mayo "Anderson Silva" Nunez: No, no, it's normal
This reminds me of the old monster garage show. Subscribed.
I agree the kill shots on the boots was a bad ass idea and looked bad ass
Having boots made from the elk you shot is Freakin amazing.
I have been wearing custom handmade work boots for over a decade. The fit, comfort, quality, and durability are simply levels above any mass produced boot, and I have wore most of them. Also, they are fully rebuildable multiple times. Don’t skimp on investing in your boots and your bed. If you’re not in one, you’re in the other.
This was an awesome video!
Joe now knows what it's like to be 5'3 with those boots
What a cool story to share. Thanks.
This video had no right to be such an emotional rollercoaster lol. Happy 420!
Awesome awesome work
That knockout though 😮
Incredible storytelling!
seriously great
When I look at the amount of effort that went into those boots, I'm just wondering what price tag comes with it. Everything I see you guys do makes me proud to wear my Origin boots. Awesome job
We need more 100% American factories like Origin. Love the boots!
you guys are what makes America Great. Thank you! and hell ya joe! those ARE dope boots. maybe a Rogan boot line coming out?
The expensive camo I have been given for helping people find a good sheep is made overseas, I’m definitely going to look into your stuff.
Thats frickin badass!
Pretty cool. Might look better with a black christy sole. Not sure if theyre made in the states though.
Wow, I mean WOW. your production team is seriously out of this world this video felt like something straight off of discovery channel or Nat Geo or something very well made!
Boots look great
As a Mainer im glad to see real boots being made in the safe again !!!
