- Back on the mainland and riding around lakes. Can't remember what they're all called because there are so many lakes. But I'm somewhere near Karjalohja and Nummijärvi on the way to Fiskars.

The country roads are littered with burnout marks...I'm sure I saw one about a half mile long! Don't blame them, I'd do the same and I can hardly call myself a kid anymore. Bloody kids :D

waste! Off camera I did go a whisker quicker but I'm just not good enough yet and too scared to break the bike. I'll do you proud one day ;)
Thats a great road to cruise on :) ... always ride past there once or twice every summer. About the waving I think its only meant for "motorcyclists" meaning 125cc and up. Most 50cc riders dont even get the idea with the wave and even care.
I've always loved driving in Finland but I like riding it way more! I'm trying to see if I can sort a trip from London to Helsinki on the Superduke this summer too :) The best part is that the roads are completely empty compared to England! But I think you're right, the few 50cc guys I waved at didn't seem to get it...but I had to wave to the Manki riders because that bike is too söpö xD

These are amazing roads! In Kuwait we don't have any nice roads, just boring straights with broken pavement :(
But you do have year round sun...almost!

Its never too late to make a career change! You could always start doing some track days and see how you like it.
Believe me, I've been tempted! I'll give it a few more years until I've got a bit more experience then get a cheap Gixxer track bike...and maybe become a biking version of James Hunt ;)

Finnoctane That sounds like a great journey:) Yeah, we'll see... the DRZ is a quite rare bike in Sweden it seems. I looked at "Blocket" (Swedish "Tori") all spring and summer last year and only saw like 10-15 of them. And Suzuki doesn't sell them new here either... Oh well, let's hope the bike gods are nice to me! ;)
