Epic Europe Motorbike Tour - Alps from London 2016

- Riding over 2,500 miles (4,000 km) in our second European motorbike roadtrip from London to the Alps, Italian Lakes and the French Riviera. Swimming in cold alpine rivers in Austria, the warm lakes of Como and Garda to the turquoise waters of the Gorge du Verdon.
In just two weeks we managed to enjoy each location more by taking the Austrian Railways Motorail from Dusseldorf to Vienna and the SNCF Autotrain from Provence to Paris to cut out the hardest miles from the journey and spend our time in the Alps motorcycling. We rode through France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Italy during our grand tour and had time to consume Europe's cuisine, beers and wines.
Casting for this European motorcycle tour was slightly changed this year with Rocko on a KTM 1190 Adventure allow us to carry tens of liters of beer for our night train from Germany to Austria. Patard was back on his Yamaha MT-09 and I was on the KTM 990 Superduke R.
Some of the best motorcycle roads in the world are in the Alps. Starting in Slovenia there's the spectacular Mangart Pass wish sheer drops. The jaged mountain tops of the Falzarego Pass near Cortina d'Amprezzo in the Dolomites. And the endless twisty roads of France's Route de Grande Alpes. It simply a paradise if touring Europe on a motorcycle.
Filmed on a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition and Panasonic Lumix G6.

Yay! Camera shy director turns all trips into off-road pastry runs. Sweet font. Thanks for not going fully retired from vlogging yet.
There's always time for pastry xD

Cheers bro :)
Long time no see, hope all is well with you. Didn't manage to do anything this year, last year was epic, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Czech, Poland Did all the twisties. Not sure where to next year. And I bought a new baby, S1000R, sometimes you have to say WTF. Keep well and ride safe.
I've procrastinated *much* lol Now that's a proper trip! Crotchrocket's just bought a S1000R and loving it...although it's somehow ended up with stunt bars xD
Very nice indeed! Makes one wish it would be summer again! Sir, get rest of the buffer out here on youtube asap!°
Thanks man! Yeah, I'm beginning to miss summer for the riding but now it's murtsikka and avanto season ;) I've got the Switzerland 2016 nearly done but the big project is the Patagonia trip!
Next time you're in Munich, give us a shout man! Great video!
Thanks Phil! Yes, next summer...at the Kesselberg Showkurve!!!
Just found your channel and binge watched. Great watch all of them :) Just got a SDR and wondered what back pack you use on yours?
Sorry didn't see this...and thanks for your kind words! You've probably already bought packs but I used Kriega. Bit of a faff but they look nice on the bike and I've not seen any hard system that can be fixed to the SDR!
Cool
Cheers Francesco :)
Another brilliant video. You make me wanna leave right now. What time of yr do you go? We went in July 2016 and got wet.
Cheers buddy! I've been in June, July, August and September over the past few years. We've had similar experiences, sometimes it can be a total washout and you've just got to avoid the weather. September in the Swiss Alps was by far the best, little cooler but dry and sunny but you need to play it by ear and book at the last minute.
The Daytona wasn't able to get it together in time to join us lol
Also what happened to the Daytona?
Unfortunately he didn't manage to make that trip!
I live in France and they say Côte d'Azur, not Azure. Otherwise super video Bro :)
Je suis desole brah! It's fixed now, I don't know the accent shortcuts on my keyboard so I was going to copy and paste it later but you've helped out there! Merci :)
any way you can share your map route
Sorry, didn't keep a track on a GPS. But check out a book called Grosser Alpenstrassen by Harald Denzel. It's basically a complete list of every road worth knowing in the Alps!
Hi,
what is the editing software?
Final Cut Pro
Finn, new video please!
There will be...making me feel guity bro :')
