Epic Europe Motorcycle Roadtrip - London to Tuscany Summer 2015

- Ever wondered what happens when you and your friends take a 3,000 mile (5,000km) motorbike trip through Europe? Well we did that and these were the highlights from that awesome adventure. While you may think it's just the roads and the bikes that make an epic trip...it's all the more better when you've got some awesome friends to share it with. Although it rained pretty heavy at some points, it's the best motorcycle tour I've done to date. The average mileage per day was pushing past 250 miles (400km) per day while riding about eight hours per day and often getting to our destinations past sunset. Tiring at some points, yes, but boring...definitely not. European roads have some absolutely stunning views and many have little traffic!
Why is this video here? Well it's to remind me of an epic motorcycle trip, call it my own motorcycle diaries, and also try and get other riders to do the same. I get you, it's kinda expensive embark on a road trip like this but the memories and good times will make you forget about that temporary hole in your pocket. Making this journey by motorcycle made me come closer to understanding the experience Charlie & Ewan had on their Long Way Round and Long Way Down moto adventures. If you pack as much as we did within 10 days (France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland) you'll find your eyes are overloaded from trying to absorb the spectacular scenery!
Next time I do this trip, it's definitely going to be at a slower pace. I only managed to fit one afternoon of swimming in the beautiful Lake Como. So I'd definitely return to the Italian lakes to hangout on the beach for a few days. Then there's the Alps...to enjoy high Alpine passes your bike need to be free from luggage! So much to think of for next summer's trip...

I rented a bike in Munich and rode through southern Germany, France, Italy, and Austria back into Munich. I tried to see as much as I could in over three weeks. Superb, I'm itchin to get away now.. I go every year, did a two week trip to Norway last summer then in Sep headed down to the south of France via Germany, the Alps and Switzerland then back up through France .... It's what I live for

+Finnoctane Hull to Rotterdam ferry, get off the ferry at 08:00am and you can be in Northern Denmark that evening easy, it's a long day but a means to an end, then get up on day 2 and bag a 100 miles or so up to Hirtshals for the ferry to Norway .... You're in Norway for midday on Day 2 .... Bingo . We took a bit of extra time on the return leg, a night in Denmark again, then a night in Germany and again in Holland ...

Superb video friend. This is what driving a motorcycle is all about for me. Seeing and discovering new places on the bike and best of all is the time on the road, not the destination. driving anything else moves my body, but driving 2 wheels moves my soul.

This is just... awesome, but definitely the word doesn't stand to the magnificence of that road trip, not for the road itself, but for all the surroundings that make us fell grateful for being alive and able to travel.
Had a similar experience the year before (had no camera to record the trip), but by looking at yours... the same kind of awe strikes me as I place myself in some of those sceneries (not the countries, but the roads, I rode some of those that are included in the video).

That's exactly the feeling I get when riding places like that...it's just good to be alive :3 You should take a camera because there's so much that goes by in a flash that you get to see again when you get home.
