Those staples in the rear of the seat fabric is really tacky and stunning that they didn't clean that up. Shame on them.

Great review man thanks for sharing! This is in the running for my next personal bike as I've fallen in love with the Xdiavel during my current build series. Excited to take one of these out and see how it compares.

Jaret, seriously I watch your stuff and its great. This review was bad, this guy has not ridden an XDiavel, in fact he appears not to know what one is because the new Diavel is an XDiavel with the old seat, less rake and centre mount controls. He never made reference or compared it to the X ???
Then there is the I rode it in touring mode, my X never leaves sport mode and its never to much to handle - its just fun.
P.S. Love what you have done with the Arctic White XDiavel, lots of nice bolt on's, looks good.
I like it as a current Xdiavel owner I cant wait to test ride this baby!

I've owned two gen 1 Diavels (Carbon Black and Carbon Red) before and thoroughly enjoyed them. This and another recent review have got me seriously thinking about buying one of these models and keeping long term.
Why did you sell them ?
No real reason as I frequently change my bikes, I swapped the first in against a nice low mileage 1198S and bought the second one a couple of years later because I had good memories of the first one!

Great in-depth review... was thinking about a test ride but thought it would be uncomfortable with a really harsh ride. Think it’s time to ring Ducati..
He wants a steering damper, but it's a stable bike? I'm confused....
You dont need steering dumper on that bike. Diavel is stable like train on track. I didn't hade any issue with Shimma on my Diavel Carbon 2015, never.

Sorry but this is terrible. The standards of reviews in 2019 have been astonishingly bad (Michael Neeves, 44teeth and John from Bikeworld excepted). Visordown, you really need to up your game.
If you don't like it don't watch it , it's a free content at the end of the day . Personally I can't stand tall bloke from 44 teeth

The chap doing the review really needs to take a public speaking class, not trying to put the guy down or saying it’s easy but it really would help his presentation skills. The presenter is working for an online publication not just some guy making CZcams videos for fun, saying it’s free content does not excuse it from criticism.

lukaszg74 it’s about confidence, he may not be speaking directly in front of people but he knows he has a potential audience of millions. No I’m not perfect at everything I have ever tried that’s why I took some public speaking classes myself it helped me whether it be talking to clients, giving a presentation or having a conference call. It’s about self improvement and reaching your potential, you seem pretty closed minded and have a crappy attitude, good luck with those attributes in life.

Good review, but he needs to make his points faster. At 15 minutes, this is painfully slow to watch through and get the take aways. Aim for 4-7 minutes for these types of videos.
Why was this released without more rehearsing. Keep trying though.
