Kalibrgun cricket is actually ROCK SOLID..... Mine is same and I have opened it arnd eleven times due to an issue with the OEM regulator (creep) and as I was a trying to rectify and adjust it myself. I got frustrated and ordered a Huma. No issues since then. Though, after disassembling the OEM reg, I could locate the issue with the washers placement ......THANKS TO MR ERNEST ROWE FOR HIS TUTORIAL VIDEO ON CRICKET.
But, this is a very simple, very sturdy, very reliable and very accurate gun with reasonable power.
Regards from India
Thanks Sir, was long waiting for this video. Well explained. Regards😊
Awesome just like the taipan no that many 0rings I love it its easy and simple 😀 thanks for sharing bsafe buddy 👍
Interesting video. Thanks for sharing.
I add a plenum to my Avenger it made a big difference. With it being tuned on the lower side it still puts out 63 fpe.
I have a Gen 1 Impact that came with a very small plenum. Goal was to shoot the .25 - 34 grain pellets at around 830fps. that required the regulator set at 145 bar, and that model maxed out at 150 bar. Added the Power Plenum for the Impact. Same performance at 110 bar. massive difference in harmonics and general performance. There is a good reason to get the larger plenum.
Awesome job that power plenum done, is there one for the avenger
Do you have a recommendation for a highly accurate medium bore 100 yard slugger for around $1500 thats good outta the box?
Greetings friend from Sub América, excellent video, I have the same .25 rifle, I use the 34gr mkll jsb and I would like to know if I put two of those plenuns in the video, what benefits will it give me or will I have to lower the regulator so that it doesn't work too much? I await your response as it will help us a lot in configuring the cricket.
How accurate is at those 71fpe? You think that the new kricket tactical 25cal can get those numbers? They offer a plug in plenum whenever you purchase the gun. I know at max power shooting the 33g jsb it was at 56fpe, I want a 25cal either the fx wildcat mk3 bt or the kricket tactical 25cal...doing some hog hunting
It should be even jore accurate as I can now turn down the hammer spring and hav3 less jarring of the gun. Should hold true for the tactical as well
@@AirVelocitySport power wise, you think it can achieve the same 71 fpe as your gun?
@@AirVelocitySport thanks
where can I buy a plenum for my .22 gen 1 cricket. Thx
Sure a plenum upgrade sounds useful. But in this time in America, only a select few people are willing to spend $2k on a pellet rifle. And more so if they did spend that kind of money on an extremely expensive rifle it better be the best that it can be without needing to purchase additional modifications. What I would like to see is how close can you make an affordable rifle comparison to a $2k rifle. Is it possible and what modifications would be necessary to get relatively the same performance from a $300-$600 dollar rifle instead of spending more money on a pellet rifle than it would take to buy an old car. As I said...there aren't many people willing to dump $2k+ on an airgun. But many people would be willing to spend $300-$600 plus maybe another
$300-$600 on modifications to achieve the same goal.
Get yourself a Reximex Throne for around $800 and you're almost there. With air rifles it really pays to buy quality.
is it work on kral mega regulated version?
What's nice about the plenum is you can max your power, or as you said dial back your hammer spring a bit and increase shot count maintaining original power.
is there a link for this plenham
Do you know if those plenums work with the cricket 2 tactical??
Want to know too~~
This one is only for the cricket 1 and Argus. Not sure if that jncludes the cricket 2
It won't work with the tactical because of the front bottle and picatini rail, it will push the aligning pin too far forward.
The only way to increase the plenham in the tactical would be to get the reg seat in the tube milled out so the reg sits further down the tube then use a longer reg spacer,
You will also have to get the reg pressure hole filled in the tube and drill a new hole.
The air tube on the tactical dictates how the gun is put together.
Hey hope your good,is iT possible to double the air tank of my hatsan
Not sure howbthat would dine but I would ask in the forums if anyone has done it
What type?
at first i thought you were going to shoot the lcd screen
Please avenger x ..full works .I literally do everything you say. I need help with avenger x before I do anything.
That FX chrony is not the best, try a different chrony.
Found that out the hard way. Wasted so my slugs/pellets, time trying to tune and get good shot strings out of my rifles. The FX was never consistent in reading we come to find out after comparing it to other chronographs.
@@randycombs112 its a terrible chrony, it was way off compared to the original chrony, personally i use the ACETECH Airsoft Gun AC6000 bt. i made an attachment so it sits on my barrel, it knocked spots of that fx junk.
