Lycoming Valve Wobble Check - Exhaust Valve & Guide Cleaning

Lycoming's SI388 specifies the exhaust valve to guide clearance be checked every 400 hours for fixed wing aircraft, 300 hours for helos. The SI says the exhaust valve can be removed without taking the cylinder off of the engine and the stem and guide can be cleaned. I was skeptical that it could be done. I ran across the the method I demonstrate in the video on the internet and sure enough it can be done and with a little practice, it's actually pretty easy. Mocked up an old cylinder with a block of wood for a piston and learned something new. Use at your own risk and follow all manufacturers service instructions, tools and procedures.
