  • The April 2024 Visa Bulletin brought some good news but also some unsettling news. In this video we anticipate what can happen in the rest of Fiscal Year 2024 for EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver). Will dates move or remain frozen? The new Fiscal Year will start in October

    I don't understand why USCIS does not generate and publicize a visa priority date aging report breaking down how many visas are waiting their turn by COUNTRY and by DATE. Although I am almost 100% certain that they do have that information.

    • @OscarsGreenCard
      @OscarsGreenCard  Před 3 měsíci

    If PD is not current but applicant is document qualified by nvc, is there any chance of receiving an embassy invite or does the PD date need to be current first.

    Hi Oscar, I am wondering if I should apply EB 1A or EB 2 NIW. The goal is to get the I 140 approved with a sooner priority date. Does it take longer to have EB1A I 140 approved than the EB2 NIW? I am an assistant professor working in USA from India!

    • @OscarsGreenCard
      @OscarsGreenCard  Před 2 měsíci

      NIW can help you establish a priority date, if you are not sure if you will succeed at EB1 (because it is way stricter), but later you can always go for EB-1 and use the PD from NIW. Just an idea, there are different ways to go about it depending on your profile. EB1 takes a bit longer (I-140) unless you use premium processing. But of course, EB1 is way faster for the second step (visa bulletin). Cheers

    Hello, Oscar, I found your channel today and I'm loving your tips. I just received an RFE. I would really appreciate your detailed insight to help me. My lawyer and I disagree on some facts. I'm extremely hopeless. I realized to her, I was just another number; she didn't treat my case as "my life project" as I explained and made clear. After signing the contract, I had no contact with her, only with her associates. Ten months passed, and I received an RFE. My case was handled carelessly. I would like your help or a recommendation for someone else who could assist me in preparing my RFE myself. Is that possible?

    • @OscarsGreenCard
      @OscarsGreenCard  Před 2 měsíci

      Hi! Sorry to hear that. Right now I don't have the bandwith to assist you and I never provide recommendations for other people (because I can't guarantee what they'll do). If you are interested you can check out my online course; it's NOT focused on RFE but it does go step by step into how to put together a good petition, and it may be helpful for you to craft the RFE response. Good luck!
