Visa Bulletin July 2024 - surprisingly good news

  • The July 2024 visa bulletin was published and caught us by surprised because it brought unexpectedly good news for EB2 NIW (national interest waiver). In this video we analyze the USCIS and State Department publication for that category and EB1A (Extraordinary Ability), the green cards that can be self petitioned. Also great news for India in this visa bulletin, so Indian born citizens will wait much less for their green cards in EB-1

    I've been learning so much more about EB2 process with you compared to other channels managed by lawyers/law firms on CZcams. I'm not sure why, but their explanations often seem less genuine and more like idle chatter. I appreciate your clear and straightforward way of describing things; it makes complex information easier to grasp. You are exceptionally well-prepared and knowledgeable. While I haven't subscribed to your course yet, I plan to do so in late September. I'm currently considering applying for an EB2-NIW and hope to proceed with my application in December. Thank you for all the insights you've provided.

    Thank you very much @Oscar for your efforts at making things lucid for us. Actually, I had the premonition on 31 May that the retrogression might not happen. This was based off of the fact that I once again received that NVC sends every 60 days to tell you that your case is still in line.
    Moving forward, over at Lagos Consulate, we don't have much happening regarding EB2-NIW for folks that have been current and DQed since March 2023.

  • @ricardofoster5876
    @ricardofoster5876 Před 13 dny +1

    The reason why there is no one set date for when the visa bulletin will be released is because of bureaucracy. The DOS has to get the data from USCIS which has to get data from all the field offices. The DOS themselves have to collect the data from all the consulates then tabulate it. Which has to get clearance before being released. So working in a large government agency with poor management this maybe too much of an ask for them unfortunately.

    • @OscarsGreenCard
      @OscarsGreenCard  Před 13 dny

      Yes, I think you nailed it. To be honest, by implementing internal deadlines for each process this could be resolved, but as you said...maybe too much to ask for! :D

    Ok. Let’s go. Need your opinion.
    No one has a Cristal ball. I know that. But let’s try to find a pattern here.
    And I want your opinion about it
    First quarter there was no msg saying about the VB process
    So
    Oct - advance 1 week
    Nov - 2 weeks
    Dec - huge advance
    Than
    Jan no advance or a week maybe
    Feb no advance or a week maybe
    Mar 45 days of advance , more or less
    Here there was the note saying. Please don’t expect advances
    They make it clear
    Third quarter
    April - no advance
    May - no advance and a note saying that is going to will back the days
    Jun - surprise and good advance
    Now
    The point here there is no notes in jun
    Is it possible to follow the pattern of first quarter ?
    I really don’t expect no movement
    I think will advance and go back
    If they didn’t expect no movement they probably will add some notes
    Dev don’t remember
