What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
ASMR videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety, stress, insomnia, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and more. - Zábava

If only people actually treated me with hospitality like this when I went into their house late at night. But man were they raised wrong not even offering me a simple glass of water. Instead their all panicking, as the mom calls the police, while the dad grabs his gun. The nerve of some people. Unfrickinbelievable.

rift, I am a long term subscriber of yours been here since before the first candy man and have watched nearly all your videos by now and yet it still amazes me how dedicated to your artwork and your community you are. I hope that when you go to sleep at night (which must be rarely, considering the rate you pump out videos) that you get the warm fuzzy contentment that truly good and kind-hearted people get knowing they are a positive influence on the world around them. all my respect to you brother.

this is my favorite ER video thusfar. It reminds me of my first asmr experiences when I was a kid and my parents used to quietly shuffle through the kitchen and whisper to each other so as not to wake me when I was lying on the couch for my afternoon naps. I loved taking naps for those sounds all those years ago before I even knew what asmr was....

If I were to make a ASMR I'd be horrible. I can do quiet but my teeth are a little spread out, so my S's are whistled and a little loud and annoy the hell outta me. So it probably annoys others too.
You could ASMR with tapping or other crinkles and triggers. Not everyone has to ASMR the same. Plus you could avoid S sounds as much as possible. If you want to do something you should try :)
