I agree with you Simon.I too hope we get what we deserve .We deserve a manager that utilizes his players and encourages the up and coming academy players and subs with actually playing football and not vegetating their talents.

Ok if all of the Moyes media fan club believe he should be seen as a top level manager and West Ham should get in their lane and bow to his genius name me one club in the current top 10 in the PL that would swap their manger for him🤔 Would Liverpool have him? Maybe Arsenal would take him now that they have failed to win a European cup this season….Man City also missed out so maybe they could do with the European cup genius. I couldn’t see Brighton putting up with his brand of football. No one is asking the question if Moyes is such a defensive minded guru why have we conceded more goals than some of the teams in the bottom half of the table. West Ham may be 8th but the goal difference doesn’t lie. Why has Moyes only won 3 PL matches his calendar year with the smallest and oldest squad having spent £500m in transfers? The media appears to happily gas light West Ham supporters into being thankful that we are still in the PL and any ambition to progress as just a fantasy.

The style of play is not enjoyable to watch, which is important to some football fans like me (See what Johan Cryuff & Rinus Michels about style of play) Last season, we were in relegation battle while we won the 2 bob euro cup (all of my underpants have been around longer & have more history than that trophy) & with the players we now have, we under perform in decent, established & meaningful competions like the Prem, Europa League & the FA cup (we were knocked out by Bristol this season) ...wonder what people said to the likes of Leverkusen last year & the 'careful what you wish for' nonsense

What’s it to Simon anyway? He has this bee in his bonnet about Tuchel. Just about everyone says it was bonkers nuts that Chelsea let him go but Simon always cryptically says that Tuchel did things that were not proper or whatever without actually saying what he did. A club like West Ham could go next level with a coach like Tuchel.

All Moyes does is make players worse. It’s like watching depressed animals in a shady Zoo, you can only pretend it’s ok for so long.
this whole thing with Replays is so old school. Eventually things change once the next generation comes. Clubs play a massive amount of games in multiple competitions up and down the leagues. losing the odd replay is no big deal, allows for better scheduling and weekend fa cup games which is when they should be played.
Finally logic prevails from the FA and will actually improve the FA Cup going forward.

I'll always thank Moyes for overseeing this period in the club I support; the most successful in the club's recent history, and playing European football for three consecutive years (maybe a fourth by some miracle), and of course actually winning a European trophy was something I never thought i would see us win.
Unfortunately, he doesn't have the tactical nous or bravery to build on that. Drawing against Burnley (which we were lucky to get from being 2-0 down), pathetic defeats against Fulham, Forest and a disjointed United, combined with a 6-0 home loss against Arsenal, simply isn't acceptable for a club looking to maintain top 6 finishes. I think he's taken the club as far as he can.
If Moyes does leave, then I think we should make a move for Tuchel given he's leaving at the end of the season. Experienced in the PL, and has a record of winning the big games and the trophies that come with it. Plus he will more likely have a better relationship with Steidten when it comes down to recruitment and identity.
Alternatively, I'd take Paulo Fonseca, Gary O'Neill or maybe even taking a risk on Kieran McKenna.
Lets all hope so for our club
If the FA Cup replays must be scraped, why not come to equitable way of distributing the match day revenues from say a PL club to a lower league club? Surely that would not be too difficult?

What is the difference? We’ve spent more money we’ve got a bigger stadium capacity our squad is comparable to Villa yet we’re not allowed to want what they have, which is a progressive manager who plays attacking entertaining football AND capable of challenging for European spots. There are a many other things that Moyes isn’t very good at, such as defending, squad rotation, playing a game where we have more possession than the other team, having more than 300 passes per game,integrating youngsters, finding a striker, selling players for more than we paid. I could go on but you wouldn’t listen. I’ll leave you with a last example our bench tonight against Leverkusen contains Cornet who he won’t play Ings and Ogbonna who are over 30 who he won’t play Mubama and Johnson who are leaving cos he won’t play them and 5 youngsters that he won’t play. We have the smallest second oldest squad who he has run into the ground for the last 3 years and he then bemoans the fact that Leverkusen have 16/17 players to call and he hasn’t! and acts as though he had nothing to do with that situation. Yes we are definitely in a position than before he came, does that mean we can’t move on?
