Well, obviously many Druids want to take care of plants, but there are some of us who, eherm, don't exactly have a green thumb? Perhaps just a "how to start caring for plants as a druid" video?

What an excellent idea for a giveaway! I'm in the same position with my shelves, so please skip over me. I love your reviews and content. 🤔 I'd love to see something like a short walk in the woods or views of open fields with a voice over of some original poetry, stories, music, or reading classic (noncopyright) poety. Just something for a quick mental decompression when people can't escape the office. Keep up the great work. Your review of OBOD was what finally convinced me to join.

I’d like to see a video or two on what types of permaculture you have tried, along with the pros and cons. I’m OBOD as well, and while there might have to be some smaller stepping stones first, my eventual goal is to acquire a scrap of land outside of town and utilize the space to become more self sufficient and lower my impact.

I'm in the same boat, but the proper technique is to start making stacks on the floor and filling up boxes and tucking them away in corners and crawl spaces. I guess I just can't let go of books ;P
Hmmmmm....here's one I struggle with and think about. How do we be druid when we're not surrounded by trees and books and sky? How do we be druid when we're stuck in line at the grocery store, or sitting in gridlock traffic, or having one of "those" days at work?
I guess how do we carry that sacred space with us out into a world that is so much less druid and even less zen?

Would like to hear more about your planning a circle of stones you mentioned. I have the A Circle of Stones book by Erynn Rowan Laurie. I like the idea of creating a Nemeton space for rituals. In Brenda Hunt's book Dowsing and your garden there is a chapter on how to create a sacred space. I have been looking on how to make Greenland wax (10 to 1 ratio of paraffin wax to beeswax melted together to form a bar of wax, then you heat the cloth you have applied the wax to seal it with a hairdryer) to make a protective coating to my crane bag once I finish decorating it. Then I can take it outside. It is denim. I have been reading how the druid staff was used to make a Fionn's window outside. There is a mention of this type of ritual in Celtic Tree Magic by Danu Forest. I would also like to hear how your Druid OBOD course is going. Some people on YT use CZcams buddy extension to pick winners for contests. Have signed up for it but haven't used it yet. (be useful if you are doing a large number) Good luck to everyone. /I\

With this in mind, i would generally love the occasional video that was twice as long so you could really deep dive into a subject.
Topics I would enjoy would be: how prescriptive Vs by the book are you following OBOD rituals, relating to deity (can’t remember if u do), the role of mythology in ur practice, fitting ritual into ur life and daily practices.

I would appreciate some more specific sort of videos. Like your favorite rituals and a bit about them, or a deep dive on the lore and care and use on a plant. Also, since I am saving to join OBOD, I would enjoy hearing more about your time in the Bardic grade. You touched on it lightly, saying it was mostly stuff anyone from other traditions would already know, but was there anything that it strengthened for you? Did it help on the technical side of bards? such as memory or performance for storytelling? I know you're much further along now than when you reviewed the course, but I'm really interested in what it did/didn't do for you. Omitting specifics or stuff OBOD specific of course. Given different aspects of my life such as musician, historical reenactor, trainer/client facing at work, the bard and their skills always fascinated me. So that is the grade I'm most excited for.
TLDR: I greatly enjoy your videos on specifics such as your staff or Crane Bag or Book of Awen. Keep those sort of videos coming. And if you could go deeper on the Bardic Grade, that would be rad too.

Hey Danni! I am super hyped for this giveaway - does it also reach across the Atlantic to Europe?
Now to the suggestions; it depends on your other interests, really! Another druid channel I stumbled across posts recipe videos, so if you like cooking - maybe you can share meal ideas for celebrating the eightfold year! If you are into plants/permaculture, you can make a beginner's/intermediate/advanced series with ideas and pointers. Personally, I love your reviews a lot and I like hearing about lore, mythology and history, so maybe you can introduce a concept or element of druidry (myth of Taliesin, Arthur, celtic background of druidry, Restoration vs. Reformation Druidry, stone circles, ogham, etc.) and then use your strong knowledge of books and give us a 'reading list' at the end of the videos so we sapling trees know where to look and make our first steps.
Last idea (long comment, sorry!): if it isn't too personal for you, you can maybe 'journal' your experiences following the druid path in OBOD. I very enjoyed watching a series called 'a week in the life of a phd-student' and it showed the challenges and successes. Maybe you can do a 'a day in the life of an obod ovate', where you talk about an exemplary day, routine you do, or you talk about a particular experience.
Just throwing some ideas into the room! Enjoy your day Danni!

I'd love to hear more about your Grove experience, especially regarding the building of community aspect! If there are books to appeal to that would be great! I'm sincerely curious about what your take would be on Jon Young and his wilderness school, and his 8Shields community building/mentoring program: 8shields.org/author/jony/. And he has books. There are also books on sustainability and community organizing for sustainability--you've mentioned your new job in doing some kind of outreach of that nature.
And I had commented a ways back asking you your thoughts about men and women segregating themselves into spiritual gathering groups. I've personally always found an all woman's group enlivening, but I came across some challenges i.e. not being able to bring my very young son to the group. I also wonder about your take on the book Celtic Women's Spirituality (can't remember author's name and this comment forum will delete everything if I look it up) AND men's spirituality! Oh yeah--and do you do anything with the moon?
Eventually--maaaaaaybe--your thoughts on children, raising children pagan, possibly homeschooling. I imagine that all is faaaaaar into your future if it's there at all... I LOVED your farm magic! Hmmm. I think that might be it...oh yeah! Nature Spirits--you give them honey. More in your practices with nature spirits (need to watch vid on ancestors you just did), ancestors, deities ... Oh yes! Crafting your own traditions! Yep. Ok. I'll probably come up with more.

Great idea! I think I'll have a good resource to review soon, but I'd also like to do some videos on working with the Fey.

I would love to see you do a video on LGBT+ people and/or polyamory in Druidry. :)

hmmm. . . I'll have to think about this one. Maybe I could do some interviews or something. This isn't something that I could speak of from personal experience, but I'm sure there are some interesting voices out there on the topic.

@@DanniEsotericMoment: I completely understand. My first choice actually would have been ancestor veneration, but you just covered that topic, and as a member of the aforementioned communities I appreciate that you are considerate of not speaking over those with lived experience. :)
