It took me a minute to figure out what you were trying to accomplish, but those shelves came out looking nice. Even stacked up with each other. Great video, great set up. I do wanna see your finished shelves though.
It took this newb several minutes and reading comments before it hit me lol.
Still confused, but may go through comments later.
Same here but became very clear and a valuable asset I may use. Simple jig great results.
Consistently the best woodworking channel on the 'tube.
I’ve used an L fence for many years. But I’ve never used it as you showed; something for the memory.
Another great video. I think what sets you apart is your ability to deliver a message in a logical, concise way that is easily understandable for most.
And his way of finding meaningful and fresh content with every video. I see a lot of gimmicks or redundancy on other channels.
Totally agree.
Another great tip and great jig. Looks like I'll have to add this one to the arsenal. Your direct/concise delivery of info makes this one of the best channels out there. No wasted words, no BS, a couple of sly jokes hidden in amongst a wealth of common sense. Thanks!
@Inspire Woodcraft Your content always delivers: clear, logical, useful, no B.S., and no clickbait. Thanks.
Another reason why I subscribe to your channel. Simple but so effective.
This is one of the most brilliant videos with regards to a table saw that I've ever seen. Definitely will be using this.
Great idea, especially for several odd-shape pieces that one wants matched together.
Complete Genius and very simple system. Thanks again for sharing with us Jodi 👊🏼
You have the most creative approaches to using and improving standard woodworking tools. I'm always so wowed by the ideas and work-arounds you come up with.
I have seen versions of this fence before but I really like you explanation & demonstration! Well done! 👍👍👏👏
Fantastic. So simple, and so effective.
Simple is sometimes the best and what it always has going for it that it actually gets done and you can move on.
thanks for the demonstration!
Brilliant and helpful!
That’s so great. I’ve never seen that before. Thanks.
Concise, logical, and informative without trying to be excessively entertaining or humorous. A refreshing approach. Thank you.

Hello, i'm Linda from Belgium. I wanted to thank you for your L-fence tip. I use it almost every day! Now i had to miter my pieces for a knifeblock. I always found a 45 cut very scary. Not any more! I cut a scraps to the width of the inside the knifeblock and use it to cut the miters! Awsome!
Pure genius
That L fence and template setup is brilliant. Brilliant!
One of the best explanations for using this type of fence. Thank you!
Quite incredible
It blows my mind how much practical advice are in each and every video. Unreal. Thank you
Great description and idea. Now I want to make a shelf like that as well, can't wait to see it.

Very nice.
Very cool idea, thank you!
excellent
Best content on CZcams. Thanks 👌
Another great video with excellent ideas.
You know you have to show that finished shelf or even better, the process of making it.
Bro, you freaking rock.
*Given 100 years...* Would I have come up with this jig? I wish! This is both brilliant and simple. Thank you!
Great video as always, thank you. I hope you share the finished shelves, the milled pieces already look beautiful.
I have watched a few videos on using a L-Fence but they never actually made anything with one and I didn't make the clear connection of the benefit of using one. This video cleared that up really well. You take the time to set up your camera to make it very clear as to what is going on each step of the way. Thank you!
Great technique~! I'll be making my L/T/template/pattern fence this weekend. I've seen them before, but your demo was really good. Thanks much~!!
Damn ingenious! Thx
As usual, a great presentation and explanation. Really want to see the finished project. I hope to get some additional ideas from your final design. Thx. Ken
That appears to be a particularly useful jig. Thanks.
Another instructive video. Thanks.
Great jig and video, thanks for sharing. I just added a pin router to my router table and a template jig to my bandsaw, might as well make this to complete the set : )
Very cool!
Good demo. A thought: if you made the cap of the "tee" on the L-fence the right width and positioned it properly, it seems you could clamp the L-fence at the right height for two oft-used wood thicknesses without using the 1/2" shim. This would be especially useful if you tend to make projects with only one or two thicknesses.
clever. nice, simple upgrade.
Two great 'tips' again. They should be put together in some ebook, for fast reference - with a link to each specific video.
