In this video, we are talking about checks administered by the Social Security administration including but not limited to Social Security retirement, Social Security disability, Social Security survivors, Social Security spousal, supplemental security income, SSA, SSDI, SSI and others. We are talking about a couple discrepancies that have been happening over the last couple years and how much checks have increased over the last three years as well as how much prices have also increased over the last three years as a result of rapidly rising price adjustments. With this being said, we are discussing the different percentages of how much these respective items have gone up and how it directly pertains to Social Security checks. I only get $1200 a month and I am 71 yrs old and in 3 years we got 17%. They expect old people to live on their own. Sad government. Thank you for trying help us but our government is not going to help us unless we get better president and Senate.

This is crazy, I get SSI. I am diabetic and I can afford food with no sugar. It's too expensive and the only thing they give me and food stamps $67.
I get 599 a month 23 stamps I bearley Make it I can't get the food I need and I'm sick can't get to to spiacil doctors it a sad world thanks for update.

Me too and that's ALL I get😥 With rent @ 800.00 a month (and that's the cheapest I could find) I'm really just existing I can't even say I'm surviving because I'm not after rent I have nothing left for other expenses (electric gas water phone Internet) not to mention basic needs cleaning supplies ( dish soap trash bags, toilet cleaner...) then there is personal products( toothpaste soap shampoo deodorant shaving needs. my hair has not been cut in almost a year! My dog NEEDS to go to the vet and the groomers as well.)
These are things that before COVID I had funds to do that and more!
Then I lost about 90% of my income. Now I'm making a month, what I used to make in a week!
I don't fault anyone for that terrible illness,even though I lost friends and family members. 😢 I do however fault the government for not doing more than the basics for its people

What Ssi got in 3 yrs That's an unjust way of looking at it. Giving the theifs more credit than those they cheat every year. Not every 3 yrs. They keep us in poverty they always have those leading the blind and I don't follow the justice in this situation. It a shame.

Can't pay half my bills and don't get enough food stamps ( and my doctor said I need good balanced meals and especially meat )
