Nice! We order from Wal-Mart all the time and get the great value brands in a LOT of things. I also have Wal-Mart+ and since the car's been broken down, its been a God send! Wal-Mart has lower cost of their Plus program for low/fixed income too, same as Amazon Prime has nower costs.

Most people dont want to work. The NEED to do it to survive. Its the fact that ssi penalyzes $1/$2 over $85 plus income taxes, snap cuts, section 8 rent goes up. The way it is now, it costs to work, especially if you have to drive to a job, buy clothing for job etc. there is work from home now. Some of us are young and could possibly do 20 hrs wfh but its not worth the penalties. I think the point in allowing earnigs, investments is to prepare for retirement, the day we cant work. Some disabilities are mental, or pain, couldnt stand or sit in an office chair. Maybe a few hours on the sofa talking on phone or on comp? The point is, let us try and make it a realistic amount as to what can be earned in this time period, like $20-30 hr part time hours, NOT some math equation. Everyone has diff financial needs, if we can help ourselves, let us! The ssi rules are a prison. I know plenty of disabled that would work pt if they didnt get oenalyzed. I live in low i come housing. People want to work but arent capable of ft. Also, if a disability flares, need to be able to quit. We cant go losing all aid, then disability flares, and have nothing. Its not worth the risk. Idk why they dont allow it? They get taxes, and have to help less. Especially if working to fund investments is allowed. Theres many diff disabilities and stories. Please dont assume anything.

10k asset limit is laughably low. Why should we be penalyzed for investing and earning compound interest? Its discriminative to not let us help ourselves by working over a cruel $85 a month

I still say that ssi needs to remove the marriage penalty. Also remove the asset limit cause it’s outdated or make it be $50,000 to $100,000. Also can we just make the payments for ssi $5,000 to $10,000? Cause rent cost $2,000 an month for most places. Also bills keeps going up too. It would literally make the difference. Also be less worried for families members who have love ones on ssi. What make me so mad is. People be like “what about me?!” Yeah ssdi and social security needs to be better but ssi is literally underfunded and no updates for 40 years!!
