You Know... it IS a small watch. I bought one (finally - it was a compulsion) and I too was surprised that it is so small in comparison with what I THOUGHT it would be. I have another Seiko Pilot Chronograph which is 43mm and it appears significantly larger. I believe this is in part because the hands and dial of this watch (similar to the Breitling Navitimer) is reduced for the larger bezel. So, in addition to it being only 42mm - the watch face itself is also reduced and (honestly) quite small. These two factors combined gives the illusion of a MUCH smaller watch. It is my 'swim' watch where as I try to keep my other ones relatively dry. WONDERFUL ITEM!
I went with the black/yellow NATO at first. Just didn't like it. Then I tried a classic (black, olive, red) Bond strap. WOW! The Flighty is one of my favs.
I haven’t wore mine for a while so I took a break from my Rx Explorer2 and BB58 and put on my Flighty. Been wearing it for the past week and loving it. I like that blk/yellow strap on your’s.
I got a sharkk straps made out of seatbelt material. it took forever to jam it on my flightmaster. I am never taking it off. I use the bottom alarm for GMT.
I wear mine on a BluShark NATO as well. If you want to change the strap, try removing the spring bars, put in another strap, and then put the bars back in. That works best for thick straps.

It looks like the Swiss C3 Super Luminova here (or the lume than can be found on the latest Citizens) - but not like green Seiko's Lumibrite that is applied on ex. Seiko SKX or other SNA411s that I had seen on other videos re. this model. Would you mind sharing where did you get your watch from? Thanks!
I bought this watch recently because of the rave reviews from TUG as well and i'll admit I bought it because i also thought it was much bigger and i felt it sat a little small on my wrist and it kind of let me down. Also not a fan of the original band... THEN i saw a video of TUG and Long Island Watch going over this watch and he had a Vollmer Bracelet that fits it very nicely (Originally for the Orient Bambino) and OH MY GOD it in my opinion set this watch off for me even though it IMO was smaller than i thought. I went from slightly disappointed and really considering returning it to the flightmaster now being my daily watch.
So you bought a watch based on a video, didn't like it, but then liked it again because of another video? Makes zero sense. I bought the Flightmaster because I'm into aviation and actually know how to use the bezel. And by the way, it wears smaller because of the short lugs. But it's still has a case dimension of 42mm.
@@alexstewart8508 8 hours of work, tiny tweezers, tiny pliers, and a lot of patience. You have to needle the carbon fiber vinyl through the links because half of them don't come off. I used the carbon fiber stuff you put on cars.
That's the exact zulu strap I have on mine. I blame TGV for the 5 flightmasters in my watch case. It's certainly not MY fault. @ 6:08, not sure if mine came with the bisexual bezel though..... ;) Liked and sub'd.

Just put it on a Marine Nationale (olive/yelloy) NATO. Better than the Bond.

I found that interesting as well, mine doesn't have that blueish hue to the lume like i see in this video and its a more common traditional green.

What could you tell about reliability and accuracy of its 7T62 movement?
I customized my links with carbon fiber vinyl to get rid of the polish.
