I just found out that the Mido Decompression Timer extra Strap with the yellow stitching also has 21mm lugs and matches perfectly to the flighty!

The Flighty is one of my favorites.
Alarm display can be used as a second time zone.
The Vollmer mesh is a perfect fit with the curved ends that could be OEM, and also is the most comfortable steelie I own.

That strap combo looks super smart! I have my flightmaster on a Bond NATO; the stock bracelet just doesn't work for my small wrist, the clasp tang is too long.

I have the same mesh on the Tissot seastar powermatic 80 and the seiko 5 pepsi..it looks excellent.Mesh are the best choice for really small wrists;they avoid that annoying leaning back of the case,centering it on the wrist and looking much leaner than any other bracelet.

I've always loved those bracelets. They give a watch a polished look for sure. They look so comfortable as well. I'm going to change out one of my watch bands for that one someday. Nice watch, also.

FYI:
1. *SPRING BARS* - I happened to have 21mm curved spring bars handy, but I didn’t use them as they allowed too much play/wiggle between the bracelet and the watch head. It’s better to gently curve the provided spring bars using a nice rounded rounded table edge - just enough so the spring bars will fit into the end links. This minimizes the wiggle so it feels more solid on wrist.
2. *END LINKS* - The end links are polished while the clasp is brushed. I don’t mind as there are enough polished surfaces on the watch head so this doesn’t stand out too much. I am switching off an NDC strap - I like this better as the parachute strap tended to stretch/get loose and has sharp edges/corners.
3. *SIZE* - I have a 6-3/4” wrist, which leaves about an inch of extra length in in case there are any big-wristed guys out there. I’d say any bigger than a 7-3/4” wrist probably won’t work.
For those familiar with the Tissot Visodate, this is _very_ similar, except this one is 1mm wider, a touch heavier, and unsigned on the buckle. If you like that, you’ll like this one.

Love mine. I go back and forth between a green with yellow nato and a brown leather strap.
I will say it is better looking than the stock bracelet. I have mine on a Marine Nationale strap....suuuuuper comfortable now. Might have to pick up one of those mesh ones though!

Hey Marc. I got my islander 19 a couple weeks ago and i have been wearing it everywhere. I love it. Thank you so much. Im going to try a 38mm next and maybe one of the yachtmaster style 43 mm.

I can confirm, if you take a scouring pad to the bracelet for litterally 6 minutes..take away the polished mid links, the bracelet looks great.
It already feels great, isn't a hair puller, nice weight to it.
I have the Flightmaster which I bought a few months ago, and for now I'm fine with the bracelet that comes with it. Will switch it out at some point, though. Do like the mesh, but I just put one on my Seiko 5 Root Beer SRPC68K1.

This is a nice upgrade. I think the SNA411 looks great on mesh. Are these confirmed discontinued or has that just been speculation? It doesn't seem like retailers in general have issue keeping them in stock. Though like the SKX, it could just be that there's NOS to go around for ages.

Sadly I just bought mine from LIW @month ago and now on sale. Sigh. However, I LOVE the watch.
I've got my "Flightie" on a 21mm black leather really strap and it does look nice but that is really slick. May have to "spring" for that! 😜 Now... What about a sapphire crystal, Marc?

That must be the movement that bizarrely displaced the 7T32. I've just been told by SEIKO service in the UK that the 7T32 can no longer be repaired. I have a chronograph from 1999, which luckily was only needing a new battery. It has the lower time dial, but it's controlled by a second crown at the 4 o'clock position.
That stinks.
Marc, as I can see myself accidentally over-bending the spring pins, if I wanted to purchase curved ones, then could I do that through you? If not, do you have the specs on it so that I order the right ones (like from Esslinger)?
Finally, any ETA on when you'll have the mesh bands back in stock?

Marc makes the bending of the spring bars look easy. I over-bent about 6 of them when putting a curved end mesh bracelet (from Long Island Watch!) for my Pan Europ. While Marc gets stock, you can check ofrei.com .
Damn you Marc! Another accessory I "must" buy! :-) I find the OEM bracelet heavy and uncomfortable. I keep my Flighty on a NATO strap. (until now!) The watch is a strap monster!

Marc, I bought one of these from you a while back and I put it on this bracelet too. Question, my top pusher is stuck in and I can't seem to free it. Is there an easy fix? Is this a common issue?

Staib is certainly higher quality (the pricey ones, that is).

The blue panda version is regularly offered at >600 dollars. This watch is very cool looking. Unfortunately it is not very useful. It is hard to operate and read. I will sell mine as the citizen nighthawk is just easier to use and read.
