Far away from those roads. This video brought those experiences back and made me realise I would probably get an heart attack should I re-live the same!

No Leyland are Ghat (hill) king and Tata is highway king. Leyland climbs easily in the ghats ( also bad roads ) with load , whereas Tata can speed up with with load on plain highway. To make my point all kokan division ( From Mahad to Sawantwadi Depot are leyland and bad road region like Nagpur , Aurangabad , Chandrapur etc have max no of leyland buses and Tatas on Mumbai , Pune etc on good road you will find max no of Tatas .

An important point of observation , good road or bad road , hilly region or plain Tata is favored in north where as Leyland is favored in south .

In early 2000 All msrtc busses are superfast and overtakes every pvt travel busses now All msrtc speed lock 80 kph, Even pvt travels volvo busses over takes msrtc easily.
