    Lennon's victim mentality is his biggest problem. Celtic were a mess last season because of him & his pal Lawell. Any criticism he got for it was well deserved, whether from fans or ex- teammates. Look at the difference a competent, focussed manager has made this year!!
    Lenny should be greatful that he ever got to manage Celtic once....let alone twice!! 🍀

    Neil Lennon took Hibs up from the Championship,then finished 4th in the top flight.
    He wanted to strengthen and kick on and what did the Hibs Board do?
    They sold his entire Midfield.
    Hibs Board is basically acting like a poor man’s Peter Lawwell.
    One eye firmly fixed on making money from players sales whilst pretending to fully back the Manager.
    Shocking decision.

    • @alanstead1379
      @alanstead1379 Před 2 lety

      That’s just so inaccurate it’s unreal. McGinn was always going to leave and Hibs weren’t going to stand in his way with a year left on his contract. Lennon manage to piss off McGeogh and Fyvie so they wanted away as well. Lennon had the best backing of any Hibs manager following the SC win by Stubbs. Lennons demands became increasingly unrealistic, as for Hibs to ‘kick on’ would need significant financial investment.

      He cost us the league with his stinking attitude and refusal to accept any responsibility l. He should have been sacked in October having had 4 months to turn things around and only showed signs of making things worse.

    I wish people would stop talking about Lennon's success. He won almost everything with absolutely no competition, with most Celtic players each making more money than the other clubs' entire budgets. He was nearly fired before Rangers went bust and had points deducted, then it was basically Celtic vs Aberdeen. As soon as there was competition, he basically made a mess of it. Look at all the embarrassing cup results, and many dreadful results in Europe, outside of one fluky win over Barcelona.

    How can you be "unfairly treated by sections of the support" when the game's are being played behind closed doors? What support???? The stadiums were empty!
    All NL is doing here is providing insight into where his head was last season. Instead of focusing on his job (and things he could actually control) he must've been scouring internet forums looking for negative comments about himself etc...
    Also, WTF does he expect fans & pundits to say about home cup defeats to Ross County, drubbings in Europe and being miles behind rangers in the league.... Was he expecting a pat on the back?

  • @bertieyoung3827
    @bertieyoung3827 Před 2 lety

    Rubbish Tam I haven't heard many Celtic fans who blamed Madden for the loss but there is no denying he shit himself under the pressure. Rangers deserved to win on the day but don't forget if CCV had put that sitter away it would have gone down as a poor performance but 3 points on the board. I'll be amazed if we are as bad again against them. They bullied us on the day and a strong referee would have stopped them from being as aggressive as they were it might not have changed the outcome but refs need to be stronger in these games.

  • @rossparkhead4871
    @rossparkhead4871 Před rokem

    Haha. Celtic finished 25 points behind Rangers during their 10 in a row season! It was an absolute shambles of a season, and Lennon is a huge part of the blame. I can guarantee Ange, Rodgers, Strachan, O'Neill, Deila would have won the league that season.

    Never.... Never have i heard such BS from an owner. He says we rushed the appointment. They had 2 weeks. Get a great manager in. Rangers SG out What was it 6-7days VB in even the next day after SG went VB name was favourite. Villa for that matter they got SG in......in a couple days Celtic F off Howe same or next day Ange name favourite 1-2 days later Ange in. They had at least 2 weeks to get a manager. Time dose not matter. What a joke these BS americans are. They think there American BS will work here. There dreaming. Just like there american dream. In Scotland we dint have a dream. Theres no Scotish Dream. Because we are awake. I agree peter Roughy was right before you cut him off. Very wrong. He was trying to say. I belive it also. MALONEY TOLD THEM TO SHUVE IT,......
