Steven Gerrard has claimed his players were antagonised by Scott Brown during Celtic's ill-tempered 2-1 win over Rangers on Sunday.
Gerrard believes both sides need to be punished after a typically fiery Old Firm clash ended with two of his players red-carded. However, Gerrard did confirm that he'd be punishing Alfredo Morelos after he was sent off for the fifth time this season.

Exactly. It's not illegal to celebrate anywhere on the pitch. It's not illegal to talk to the opposition. Provocation is a result of perception and you cannot physically act on perception; because that is against the rules. What Scott Brown does and what many rangers players have done in their own time is not illegal. You can't hit someone just because you feel hard done to or slighted, which is what rangers players and fans have done far too much in their time.

As everyone knows, Morelos came to Rangers from Finnish "major" team HJK, which happens to be arch enemy of my favourite team KuPS in Finnish Premier League called "Veikkausliiga". Already in the beginning of the season I said Morelos has undoubted skill and talent, but he´s not playing with full deck of cards, it´s really easy to make him lose his temper, no matter how much it might cost his team. And I thougth Gerrard would get him sorted out, to concentrate playing his best level and improving. But no, again and again, his ego comes first. A major difference between Celtic and Rangers is that Celtic actually keep calm and maintain a sense of professionalism.
