Really looking forward to the plastic welding. All along as you were showing the breaks in the new dash I was thinking - great time to reinforce not just repair. Those spots appear to be weaknesses (relatively speaking) so an extra dollop (beautifully applied) of molten plastic in those areas wouldn't go astray. Thanks - love your videos.

I replaced the heater core in my Z32 after I acquired it from a family member who had let it sit for ~10-15 years. I’ve been a mechanic since the early 2000’s and I couldn’t believe how brittle the dash was. I thought it must have been due to it sitting for so long. I stand corrected. Im assuming the plastic recipe from the 90’s wasn’t as good as most of today’s automotive plastics. I can’t wait to see the finished dash and I agree that maybe some reinforcement in the non-cracked fastener areas is in order. Merry Christmas!
