Misfire due to fuel flow. She's flopping becausee for 1 rpm she's not powered. Then It fires again and loads up the drive again. And pushes how it should. Clean the carb. And check your fuel filter.
I will say I bought this motor at action and I opened the carb because they said it sat in a closet for 12 years but surprisingly it looked really good in the bowl so I didnt mess with anything just put it back together and it cranks and runs but I do have a kit and water pump which I need to just go ahead and install. I'll try soaking the carb replacing the lines. Wonder if I should rebuild the fuel pump as well. Or buy a new one at least. Thanks for the comments just wanted others thoughts before I went off on a wild goose chase
Okay I found out it's the clutch dog jumping out of forward gear. I can buy the parts old new stock. Thanks for yalls help
Fuel restriction. Check your fuel line from tank to motor. Ethonol fuel will break down the inside lining of the hose.
i have same issue on yamaha 5hp 2 stroke,i have change 1 set gear box but still jerking.why?
