I feel like carvans should just give you a blue item or some cool item.

  • @skupipup

Yeah I think you're onto something there. Maybe a caravan reaching their target should grant better rewards based on diplomacy, like if you have a trade agreement with the faction then more monies. Also, make sure to have a barracks of some sort in the town you're trading away for higher gains.

  • @clockmonkey

It wasn't so bad when you piled four Armies or three and a Garrison onto a Caravan, gave it a beating then trousered 40K currency. What used to hurt was seeing one shuffle past knowing you just couldn't get an Army to it.

  • @AOGamingXII

I feel like the caravan were not a priority to "fix" at the moment.

  • @Fastwinstondoom

Sooo, caravans are now a shit mechanic for both Cathay(apart from the reward items) AND the other factions. Taking away the multiplier from extra lords attacking would have been more then enough.

Rest in peace greasus goldtooth, forever having a poor ogre economy unless trading is involved

  • @BECTHNK119

The "no fun allowed" company at it's finest

  • @Estus1999

yeah I think that caravans should still give bonus gold when beaten. But also there should me more rewards for allowing a caravan to get to you. like a control bonus or small % money production bonus or both. Maybe also a random item that could be Cathay exclusive normally. that'd be cool. that way it's either spend your army resources and positioning to get a ton of money or get less money but buffs that last a few turns and help in the long run.

  • @darkywarky

It's strange that they nerfed the caravans that badly. They should have slightly reduced it or kept it the same imo.

  • @garyscarisbrick8621

Maybe like a small cash amount but then a sort of buff, that steals some of the factions worldwide trade income for a certain amount of turns upon defeating a caravan.

  • @bradycadek2409

Thought there for a sec it was them going to change their pricing

  • @TheAzorg

there should be seperate balance for SP and MP, so the exploits for SP could remain

  • @isnobodyreally102

Oh damn. Caravans? Nooooo! Well there goes the grimgor/Chorfs cheese. Was good while it lasted.

  • @Jolly9988

I wasnt a super fan of caravan farming but it was novel. Not sure why CA prioritizes patching away replay-ability instead of game breaking bugs, core game mechanics with broken tags and ai improvements

  • @Dejan19997

Nice its sad to see the caravans go but still we have to move one

  • @Crucial_End

Meh Caravans should give some extra loot imo. Their entire purpose is to travel around trading and transporting riches. I also kinnda liked how Beastmen gave so much gold. Its sorta fitting since gold is just junk to them so they would gladly give as much as they have in return for something that they want and think it was a good deal lol. Its not really a big deal though and its good to see CA trying to balance things out I just wish they would also reign in the power creep with DLC units and Lords.

  • @Jin-vx2oe

Love the thumbnail creepy kislev tax collector lady taking all my money sigh....

  • @memedaddy6932

Yet they introduced the worst money exploit at the same time: their new dlc pricing

  • @besnizec

No more four raiding lords in enemy region for that sweet camp growth just waiting for the gold to come to them. Guess we will be friends now, as per lore..

  • @dataved

I wonder if more attacking lords produce more magic items
