Is it true that housing on post at jblm don't come with central a.c.? If yes, does one have to buy a window a.c. (will it fit the windows there?) or portable a.c. during summer time?
Most homes on JBLM do not have AC, but the homes in Meriwether Landing where we currently live have AC. If you get an offer for any of the older homes on JBLM that do not have AC, you are allowed to purchase your own window AC or portable units though!

Hi there! You can only get as many bedrooms as you qualify for (depends on # of dependents). From what I was told Meriwether is for ranks e7-e9. But I doubt that’s correct because I do see some lower ranking soldiers here, but maybe it’s because they qualified for a 4 bedroom or they’ve been here before housing made that change.
