I just. Used some Molykote on the 25lb spring. I’m hoping it will compress more easily. Only weighing at 95 pounds makes it quite difficult to compress the 25lb spring fully, 😅 .

I prefer 30 lbs & Press Twice. However, many professional baristas tamp at 50 lbs. Thank you .. I appreciate your video because I can figure out how to get the damn second spring out. 👍😎

How accurate is the weight of each spring? Have you tested them? I have this tamper and the springs feel a lot heavier than 15, 25, 30

I just use the 30. Probably overkill but works for me

Everything I unscrew the tamping base, the handle comes off instead of the base and the baffle.
